ditto the previous review. a pity too, it's a great idea and well implemented, but the price is just ludicrous! Someone needs to create a plugin or something to wrap this functionality into textmate... Especially since the "edit in writeroom" functionality is borrowed straight from TM! |

Seems the new version is causing trouble... after upgrading only to see 7za crashing due to bus errors, I followed this temporary fix from the 7zx forums: Downgrade to 1.6.7: http://sixtyfive.thesneaky.com/temporary/7zX_1.6.7.dmg Hrmph |

This has been the one trouble-making conduit for about a year, I periodically check to see if it'll work, but to no avail. Seems others have the same issues (after some googling). Basically, syncing fails once I enable MAL Conduit. Yay. |

Great app! Seems to be the best front-end (for compressing) for 7z around... and 7z is super-awesome. It isn't anything close to what's available on Windows (shell integration! so nice...), but its free and it works better than the rest. That being said, a GUI would be SUPER nice (being able to do things other than through drag & drop). Also, having the app decide if I want to compress/decompress is a bit annoying. I should be able to set a pref so it only tries decompressing for certain formats (so I can recompress a zip or something, for instance). Oh, and http://sparkle.andymatuschak.org/ would be a nice addition too! Keep up the great work... |

I figured it out. I was trying to compare compression ratios between 7z and the much faster ZIP, so I had already zipped the pdf. Then 7z tried to expand (i dropped the pdf). Though it didn't actually do any expansion. When I deleted the zip file, it compressed the pdf just fine. |

Hm. It works for some. Perhaps they have internal compression that confuses it? |

Can't seem to compress pdf files... it just tries to expand them. Strange. |

Er, I mean, yeah. For some reason I read $40, but even $30 is a lot. And I can still get Transmit for the same price as the upgrade. Not a wise way to keep customers :-\ |

Yeah, I agree!! $40 for an upgrade that's even buggier than the last release? (Which was already annoying me with the screwed up bookmarks...) Argh. Time to look at Transmit, which I can buy new for $10 less than the interarchy upgrade O_o And I'll try to find a copy of Interarchy 8 to use in the meantime. |

I would go for it, but the mixed reviews make me hesitate... and applescripts have been sufficient thus far. |

Sorta like Beatunes, but free... Though the beatunes implementation is a bit weird. I like how it can automatically assign color tags for me tho... (beatunes, that is) The prospect of having to go through and actually tag all my stuff by hand keeps me from really going for this though... |

Great program. Not much to say beyond that. Totally graceful, actively developed, nice UI, functional... All the things I look for in software! Oh, and this latest update has probably the sexiest .dmg I've ever seen. Seriously. |

You can do this in Quicksilver too, though it slows down your normal use since it has to index all your songs too... |

Seems to work alright, though I can't really use this until authentication is implemented (Middlebury College). 'Til then... |

Any issues with using this on tiger? Curious that no-one has commented since 2005... and no updates since 2004? |

Decent piece of software... but falls short in serveral critical areas -- the most annoying being recognition of installed applications, and then dealing with this information once it is recognized. Ugh... Glad my membershipp was free from a promotion... |
