Just love the interface, this has come a really long way. A few caveats; It stutters along and still has a few bugs that need to be ironed out. Why no support for Daily Motion? Apart from that there is no other software like it.(Puts the iTV interface to shame). |

Got the download, but this and the sequel, 'Black Plague' don't run on my C2D.In fact they freeze after the opening intro. |

I have the same problem using the Tiger version. There is nothing wrong with the Urls i'm using so I wonder where the problem can lie. I am eager to start using this app as it's the only one of it's kind so far. |

A worthy successor to Aladdin Tuner. One query. How do I search for a particular city? Would be better if there was a feature to give you all the instances of duplicate City names. Typing Birmingham takes me to Alabama listings instead of for ones in the U.K. Or am I missing something? |

Here's a solution for using the app with a region free drive under Leopard. (Taken from a forum). "Delete the ~/Library/Application Support/DVD Player directory and the ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.DVDPlayer.plist file. After running Region X again, and modifying the zones, DVD Player will now be aware of the new settings." |

Seems I'm not alone in being foxed. Guy on another forum had a similar problem. I've included my reply. Ignore Rapidshare Link! Xypher - Version: 2.2.0.49, Looks like I had a similar experience to the poster below. Digging through my hard drive, I had two versions of the preference pane installed it seems. The older one, (v2.1.3) was the version being used, but when I went to the about box it would strangely show up as 2.2.0.49 hence the confusion. Looks like their installer isn't very thorough when deleting and upgrading the proper files. I apologize sincerely, but they should take their share of the blame. Sorry, this one breaks my Mac - Version: 2.2.0.49, RestonMacGuy After trying all day to listen to my weekly audio streamcast (Music From the Hearts of Space), I decided to try another computer, and found that it was not the source but my Mac. Each time I tried, Safari would lock up tighter than a drum, requiring a force quit. Unfortunately, the Flip4Mac web site's links to older versions are broken, and the site is unmanned until December 26. I did manage to find version 2.1.3 in a backup set, but the pref pane had to be installed using 2.2.0.49. This results in some odd error messages, although I was able to listen to my program. Running PPC Mac OS 10.4.11 with the latest security patch on a 1.67 GHz 15" Powerbook. This isn't the first time Flip4Mac has gone kablooey on my computers. I hope I can get the older version and wait until Telestream updates to another, more stable version. |

MTR has been updated regularly and is at version 3.R14j. Have to agree about the donation though. At the asking price it should at least support HD/Blu-Ray. |

Seems 2.2.0.49 has been pulled again and the old Beta reintroduced. The streaming option has indeed been removed from the feature list of 2.2.039b. Haven't got a clue why. |

Are you sure you're using the latest Beta, 2.2.0.49? My Tabs read: Plug-in Movie Audio Update Upgrade I am using Tiger 10.4.11 on a PPC eMac. This has me stumped. Sorry I can't help more. |

Good news. Switching to the latest version of Easy Envelopes 1.0.6 seemed to cure the problem for me. |

Developer has promised to keep me informed concerning this and is working on the problem. Here's a tip he gave which didn't work for me, but might for others. "One thing you may want to try is to reset Amnesty's preferences for the EasyEnvelopes widgets: 1) Launch Amnesty. 2) Make sure the EasyEnvelopes widget is closed (appears in the menu with no checkmark or dash by its name). 3) Hold down the SHIFT and OPTION keys and (while keeping the keys down) select EasyEnvelopes from the Amnesty menu. This will reset the widget preferences and EasyEnvelopes will appear centered on your main monitor." |

The latest release fixed the bug with EasyEnvelopes where you can't select text without dragging the window, but introduces new ones. Now it won't remember my Font or Font size and defaults or reverts to Lucida Grande 12point every time I try to use or even open it. Have mailed them about this and am awaiting a response. |

Thank you for adding the layer break option as per my email request. This sole feature is worth the donation alone. Nero or Toast won't let you set it manually, so as of this writing, this is the only Mac app that offers this functionality. Splendid work. Time for me to donate thankfully! |

'Programs like this', does not necessarily mean this actual program, but programs that perform the same function. This has been documented thoroughly in the British news. Pity that people are violating the intended use of such software. |

Have to admit I'm tired of using the VLC interface and sick of the garbled artifacts that appear when playing back a file. I'm also sick of the error window that constantly pops up whenever I'm trying to watch an AVI. I've decided to switch to MPlayer which has made a comeback recently. It also has better picture quality and none of the odd behaviour of VLC. |

Get the next Beta out quick. This one stops responding after one or two minutes and slows my whole system to a crawl till I have to reboot, and get rid of that silly star feature. Apart from that it appears to be heading in the right direction. By the way when is the Glass theme turning up? |

I find that Data Rescue will recover old OS's that have been formatted over, files you never thought you would see again. Boomerang seems to have a clear advantage though when it comes to media files such as iMovie projects, Mpegs, Avi's etc...I think both of them used in conjunction would be ideal, but the price is way too steep. It really needs to cost the same as Data Rescue, not a penny more. |

To the developer, this is almost perfect. I would like an option to create a read/write UDF so I can add or remove items to an existing DVD disk image project. Similar to a packet writing function, something that we used to be able to do in OS9 with DirectCD. |

I haven't seen many examples of shameful bashing like this. If you don't like it then please don't download it. If you want to help development then say something constructive. This browser helps me a great deal as I can use it and keep Photoshop open at the same time. When you're low on Ram you'll start to appreciate apps like this a lot more. I've tested a lot of the other so called slimmed down browsers and prefer this one. Thanks for this again. There is definitely a need for it as your download stats show. |

The reason why this makes so many coasters is because it authors the disc in the ISO9660 format. You will have to copy the folders from the disc to the hard drive and burn again as UDF. I use LiquidCD which does the job fine. |

As for people's Reg problems, I got this from another site. "The registration keys are locked to a specific time window from when they were generated. Solution? Set your computer's clock back to the date you received your registration email and try again. Open program, paste in reg code, and like magic, it accepts the key. Admittedly, a dumb way to do registration". |

Didn't believe the claims about the speed until I used it. It compressed an 8gig movie down to about 4.3gig in roughly half an hour on my eMac G4. That's a lot faster than DVD Shrink on Windows aswell as certain other well known Mac DVD encoders. |

The DVD it burns is in ISO9660 format which is a glaring oversight. You will need to copy the files back to the hard drive and burn again in the DVD UDF format. I suggest LiquidCD which does the job nicely. Sipmly select the Video DVD Tab and follow the instructions. |

Never really had a problem with iTunes till this release. The CD freeze up is a real pain in the neck. Please Apple, fix this quickly. |

I think there is a bit of confusion concerning what SRS iWow and Volume Logic do.One is essentially a glorified Gain module while the other is an all round effects equalizer. They cannot really be compared. I find they are both quite good in their respective fields. |

Was having trouble burning 8 speed Dual Layer DVD's on my NEC 4570. It would just eject them so I decided to use this. It would not install the .Bin file I had so I used a .exe file instead and crossed my fingers. The program acts a bit loopy, but I could see it was doing something. After a restart the System Profiler showed the Firmware Update had been applied. All good so far, next, the acid test. It burned the 8 speed Dl's just fine. Amazing. |

Go to, 'Filterville' from the Menu and choose, 'Actions'. In the drop down list you will see the two filters you need. You will get the best results by using images that have not been compressed. Good luck! |

Close Safari first then install. Restart browser and wait for Flash video to load fully before pressing the dimmed button. It will start to download. Worked perfectly for me on the latest version. |

Was the best for it's time, but needed to be updated as there are many different types of Servers/Urls it simply cannot handle anymore. Thanks for the 50 free trials though. Quite generous. |

Can't give it full marks because there's no Aqua version for PPC, but even the Intel Aqua version is missing some stuff. I do find this runs slowly and crashes aswell. If they're not careful it could turn into bloatware. |
