It can, and does work just like OS 9 did, if you want. It's no secret how, and you don't need to be a Mac genius. Go to Work Group Manger, and change the settings to your liking in Sharing - All (or Shared) - General and Protocols. No cron scripts, no command line commands, no $200 piece of software needed. But hey, if you can get $200 out of people by using FUD (Fear, Uncertainty and Dread) more power to you!! Microsoft has been doing it successfully for years. Best of luck. (Version b308) |
