CAPITALJ  I, too, found every single station to be unavailable. The developer responded quickly to my emails, but telling me to make sure I had Flip4Mac and Perian installed (I do) didn't actually help.

I like the idea behind RadioRocker, but it doesn't work for me.

CHAS_M  The "drawer" was for displaying ads, which only very VERY rarely appeared. It can't be closed -- the ads were what supported the program (or didn't, as we see now).

WOZARDOFIZ  Just noticed that version 3.0 for the Mac is available on the Ventrilo site. Also noticed that after 2 years of waiting, the GSM codec is STILL not available for Mac. Unbelievable.

WOZARDOFIZ  Is there any way to have the program sign in to AOL automatically? When I'm away, I like to record using Audio Hijack's timer feature, but you have to manually sign in to AOL before it will play.

STEVEN GOODHEART  If you set your Preferences to do so, AOL will log in automatically and even start up the last station you were playing...all checkboxes in the Preferences. (I own and use AudioHiJack Pro too...ain't it great? It's allowed me to record so much great streaming music.) Good luck. I hope I haven't said the obvious, you have some other problem.)

WOZARDOFIZ  Thank you for the trial subscription, but all the radio stations I've tried so far can be found at shoutcast.com. Am I missing something or why wouldn't I just go to Shoutcast and download the links there?

RMHELPER  Several iRADIOmast advantages over browser based directories follow:

a. I can use my Sony Ericsson w800i cell phone "remote control software" to control my iTunes radio stations. My personal favorite is "salling clicker". I can change stations, volume, etc.

b. We have MANY stations not found in other directory services such as the U.S. Emergency Weather Stations.

c. We constantly add new, progressive stations that broadcast using non-shoutcast server software. Therefore, these stations are not included in the shoutcast directory.

d. Listening to internet radio through a web browser is akin to eating noodles with wool mittens. Sure you get the noodles in your mouth, but you wish you had done it a different way.

e. We are a small group of people who research and include obscure genre such as Electronic:Jungle (for the uninitiated, this is Techno Reggae that sometimes carries the name Ragga-Jungle). This is not suit corporate America. We do this because we love it.

f. In the Virtual World iRADIOmast is compatible with "slitunes", a Second Life plugin that brings iTunes music to your "Land" so your virtual guests can share your iTunes Radio stations. Try that with a browser.

WOZARDOFIZ  867MHZ G4 Dual Processor running OS 10.4.9

On the demo, After the second round of play, the game will stutter ad slow down as you attempt to move the turrent from left to right or up and down. It makes aiming impossible and the game pretty much unplayable. Shame really. Looks like a great game.

WOZARDOFIZ  Really good game, however after a couple of rounds of play, the game gets sluggish and jerky, renedering it unplayable. Only after quitting and restarting the game does it revert back to normal.

SEON ROZENBLUM  What spec machine are you on? We haven't encountered any slow down issues during game play in any of our testing, but we also don't have every configuration machine/os to test on :( Was this the demo or full version?

I am happy to work with you on sorting out the problem. Email us at games@sector3.com.au with your system specs and what was happening when it slowed down.

Seon.

Have you had a look at any of the newer versions of Turret Wars so see if we have improved the stability and responsiveness?

We have made many improvements to the game, including many performance tweaks.

Audacity
May 19 2007

WOZARDOFIZ  After reading the Release Notes, WHY would anyone doenload this?

"Audacity 1.3 is an unstable, beta version of Audacity. Users who want a completely stable, finished program should be using Audacity 1.2. Audacity 1.3 has hundreds of new features, but some features may be incomplete or confusing, it is more likely to crash, and you are more likely to lose data."

DAVID.ACORD  and what do you have to support that claim? It just seems to be improving, in my book. They haven't taken any features away, so how can it be getting worse? Stop being a cynic.
