WOLFEATSWORLD Nic- WizardTools 1.0 (all 3 Utilities) "icons" aside (sigh), and in this case. iFind 4.2, are outstanding efforts on behalf of the Mac community. Wonderfully useful programs, great web site, and let me be the first to say thank you so much for your contribution(s) to us all! Ya know, when folks see a freeware app posted, rather than allow our first reaction be to tear it apart, because under a microscope not much is "perfect" - why not take take a moment to appreciate things for what they truly are, ya know, like with iFind, a great little effort to make our lives a bit easier, and at no cost to us? iFind is now on my desktop, and I wouldn't think of closing this program while I'm on the Net. I love it! Anway Nic, the program, all three, are sooooooooooooo much appreciated, useful, and have made my life a bit easier. Thank you Nic - and for people like me, who don't have much money to spend on software, that you don't demand anything for your work, has NOT gone unappreciated. All the best to whatever you set your heart and hands to in the future.. ;-) A grateful user of White Wizard Productions (Version 4.2)

WOLFEATSWORLD Running the right Mac OSX, the installer installs OK, but cannot open the application. I'm a former Mac tech, so I've checked and performed all the normal things to insure the app would open - all to no avail. Can you help?

LEV Rather a silly remark of no value to anyone. If you can't afford it or don't want to pay for it, don't buy it. If you use it every day to run all sorts of projects and gather & collate masses of information, then the price is pretty much negligible. (Version 2.2.2)

WOLFEATSWORLD Best program of its kind-period. Everything always does what it says it will do-and you don't have to worry about any feature of this fine application. Also of note: One of the few developers out there for the Mac that is not a greedy %$#@$$! Buy it. Enjoy it-and best of all, for me, relax. (Version 2.5)

WOLFEATSWORLD I've tried all functions of the program. I find it to be useful for the most part. I'm going to be brief and say this about the idea of the end user parting with his/her money to purchase it: It is, in my opinion, too expensive for what it does, mainly because there are plenty of other freeware programs that (combined) will do every-last-thing, this one will do. The developer has taken scripts and code from many other developers and "bundled" them to produce this application. Yes, it IS nice to look at (GUI), is excellent. But will I pay $50+ to be entertained by some graphics? I don't think so, for me at least. Bottom line: I'll pass - until the developer(s) can actucally DO something to FIX my Mac, rather than just tell me what 100 other apps can tell me, admittedly, with greater flare than the others. Then browse to the folder /User/yourusername/Library/Application Support/SIMBL/Plugins and remove the folder Tasty Unzip.bundle. (Version 1.1)

WOLFEATSWORLD This is what I've been waiting for, and I am extremely pleased that this developer put it together as he has. Excellent program, easy to use, stable as a brick wall, and he's going to get a donation from me. Congrats pal--well done!! P.S. It does not need reviewing or explaining; just download it and use it.(and give this guy some bucks-well worth it-but you'll find that out the first time you use it. My name is "fatz" and I love you!

WOLFEATSWORLD well, on one point at least I believe you're wromg: "t's color is off, and there's not preference to change it." There is. You have to use Command + r which opens the Picture Controls, (Under the View Menu), There you will find plenty of adjustments for contrast, color, etc. You seem to be more interested in expressing your negative personality, rather than offering constructive criticism (Version 2007.3)

WOLFEATSWORLD " ANONYMOUS Before you buy this, try Quicksilver. You can do everything this app does and even more! And QS is free. (Version 1.0.4)" Let me ask you something: Does everything always have to be free? Is a developer ever entitled to earn a living by producing some decent programs? Give the guy a break. (And no, I'm not in any way involved in the software business; just a guy kinda tired of always seeing these developers ragged on daily, like they were the devil or somethin') Just because you know where to pick up a similar application at no cost; why deny this developer the opportunity of eaking out a living? Would you like someone like YOU doing to your business, what you did here today to him? I don't think so.... (Version 1.1.2)

WOLFEATSWORLD Now that the developer has kindly made this wonderful program available to us Tiger users, and I thank him for that, I had an opportunity to give this a test ride this evening. Outstanding utility! Have wanted something like this, i.e., simple, intuitive, stable and just look at the price! NovoIcons has meet a need I've had for a long time: you have an image that you really like, and would love to use it as an icon for a folder or application. Well, in about 3 seconds you can now have that image in icon form, with no work, no expense, no hassels. And it has a batch feature too! Wonderful job, much appreciated, and great personal support from it's very kind (and generous) developer. Hats off! (Version 1.0rc1)

WOLFEATSWORLD Do you think perhaps, you being with either very limited (or NO commerical overhead), that $30 is a tad much for this simple utility? You software developers, in numbers much to large, need to to get some control on your greed. Oh, I mean that; and I know many others will agree with me. If you want to be sucessful in this business, and not just another Johnny-Come-Lately, who leaves us quickly, adjust your prices to reflect the market place, especially considering you are NOT a commerical developer, with that kind of cost overhead. Brother.....get real real, not only with us-but with yourself. (Version 1.0.5)

SJK Is harshly ranting your opinions about this product's pricing really a way to make a convincing argument? Are you an independent Mac developer? (Version 1.0.5)

Screenflick | Jan 9 2008 |
HENRIKTEKNIK I disagree with you here, wolfeatsworld. There are situations where some developers have gone too far in their pricing plans, but in this case I see no reason for you're saying, at all. 30 bucks is fair and square for an app like this. And remember, a lot of their customers will probably intend to use it in order to make money on their screencasts. (Version 1.5)

Screenflick | Jan 10 2008 |
GCOGHILL If one compares other screen capture utilities, the pricing is fair and this app is the most OS X-ish of them all. If you compare in general to shareware apps in general, the pricing is again fair. Not sure what the big deal is here on the pricing. (Version 1.5)
