With that said, we commonly advise the following steps in using Drive Genius 2 to help you provide maintenance on your computer: 1) Duplicate your hard drive-- This is the most important step users need to take before doing maintenance on their hard drive) 2) Repair Errors on your Hard drive 3) Defrag your hard drive.
