Latest v1.55 does not appear to have been made Universal Binary as it shows an error saying "You cannot open MediaLink preferences because it doesn't work on a PowerPC-based Mac."

Please fix asap or provide the old version for download. Thanks.

No this issue was not fixed by the latest SMC firmware update. I really don't see how this app can be any better than having Photo Booth minimized.

QuietMBP uses between 7-10% of the CPU to achieve quiet, whereas Photo Booth only uses 1.8%.

This looks very promising for an first release. However it does seem to always fail on Multi-Pass encodes at the moment. Single-Pass encodes work well, but here there is no speed difference over the Apple codec yet, perhaps we will see this in the Multi-Pass encodes once they are working more smoothly?

Would be great to have little '?' buttons next to each feature which bring up a small pop-up utility window and an explanation of that particular encode option.

Thanks for this new Mac codec, x264 is widely regarded as the best quality H264 codec around, so it will be great to have this on the Mac!
