WHAT THE? Hi this happened to me too, the developer asked me about my settings on my Network, turns out my ADSL Modem router was effecting it... like too for ever to react.... changed my swapped router as I had recently changed it and presto all good again. (Version 4.0.1)

FontExplorer X Pro | Jan 6 2009 |
WHAT THE? I am too a Linotype FontExplorer lover. I have owned, used and tried Suitcase 8 to X, Adobe ATM Deluxe, Font Agent Pro, FontExplorer, Master Juggler. For me FEX is the simplest and easiest to use without locking up the Mac or applications, or crashing. It can be a bit slow on viewing typefaces... I can live with that rather than the crashes I had with Suitcase or the others. I have not tried/demo'd/installed Fusion as once bitten a little shy. I purchased a few licences today for FEX, jumped in, and enjoying it. (Version 2.0)

MYOB AccountEdge | Nov 19 2008 |
WHAT THE? Hi, both MYOB and Incognito are NZ original's. MYOB started years ago in NZ. Why go locked with MYOB and the others in when with Xero your accountant and yourself at 2 locations anywhere in the world can login at same time and make changes... easy as. Do the numbers, Xero gets upgraded all the time in the background no downloads or having to pay upgrades, the price is about that of MYOB service fee (Version 2009)

WHAT THE? cannot comment on version 9, as NZ is way behind still in version 6!!! and MYOB is from NZ or origianlly developed there. yes we in NZ that are on Macs are still on version 6 with the 1980's icons!!... they say a new upgrade will be available in 2009 for NZ too little too late. I am going for XERO... it is only in a few countries at present, though why go for buggy software which each release is a bug fix not an upgrade. go for www.xero.com (Version 2009)

NICK LO You do know about Moneyworks from Cognito software (http://www.cognito.co.nz/) right? It's an NZ product (I think MYOB actually started as an Aus product): http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/9699/moneyworks-gold Note there are several variations depending on your needs. Lockdown | Aug 23 2008 |
WHAT THE? Hi love this. Would pay for a version that could: 1. option for a iSight Motion Sensor (adjustable) and take 1 second snapshots if movement in iSight view. 2. option to set the location of the image file, rather than its current location. 3. option to have no audible alarm (though volume down will fix that) I guess I could go for Periscope (stills) or Iris or Evocam (for video too)... though I prefer Lockdowns ease of use and interface (Version 1.0.5)

WHAT THE? have you actually tried this?... you can drag and drop eps, ai, psd files. For the money it is great. I use it and love it. Dreamweaver.... nah ... Freeway Pro is for Mac. Dreamweaver and Freeway Pro are 2 different tools you should at least try it... If you design in Indesign or Quark and don't know code.... then this is the go (Version 5.1)

WHAT THE? JMahon24 if you are so rich why don't you pay the developer to write you a routine that would help 'other owners?' like yourself. SPIDERMAN rules! (Version 0.9b)

Adobe Version Cue CS3 | May 31 2007 |
WHAT THE? Wow... so 'Barber' do you own CS3? I take you must if you tried the update. Answer: No I don't want OS9, multi-tasking was not available really. My answer for you would be, stay with os9 and don't upgrade anything, then you will never be disappointed. (Version 3.1)

WHAT THE? at first I when I tried I thought yeh great. Then when using with large jobs it picked up a few issues with my files, and I pride myself on perefect output to pdf... so now I use to all the time, as it is insurance to that you are supplying a file that wont come back and bite you. It is easy to forget when the pressure is on... this saves my butt. so thanks. (Version 1.5.2)

WHAT THE? Martian iMac, Martian Photoshop, Martian Chronosync, Martian MacUpdate..... now the developer of Lifeboat must be a little concerned? unless of course you had the name first for your backup software if so this comment is not valid. Mojave Shade, Lifeboat http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/21160 now what if.... Mojave Shade Slingshot for iTunes would that have you a little concerned? (Version 1.0.1)

WHAT THE? I would see this as operator error.. a bit steep comparing this to MS... for 1 you get updates for ever and you never get left behind... and support I have found to be more than adequate ... and professional. (Version 3.3.4)

Adobe InDesign CS4 | Jun 24 2006 |
WHAT THE? Now I see your frustration... Quark. Sorry. Adobe being about all profit will want existing users and to pay for the Universal application rather than giving it away... it the 'nice' world the universal application would have been out by now. see your point... Adobe/Macromedia see profit. Will be interesting to see what they will launch. Personally I do like decent months between upgrades as they start to get a little expensive, I try to miss the 'odd' and pick 'even' though Illustrator 10 proved that wrong. (Version 4.0.3)

WHAT THE? Brilliant interface, ease of use, look forward to Applescript functionality maybe in 1.3. Pretty much over programmes that have far too many unnecessary functions, buttons and windows. And some backups you are just limited DV.... I feel this will get there as it is already. (Version 1.2)
