WALLYDOG Following is my brief experience with SynchTwoFolders. Please note that I'm using the PPC version. I love the idea of this program. So I downloaded it and ran a test. I made a copy of my work folder, then added one file and modified another in the original folder. I then ran a simulated synch, using the original folder as the "source." SynchTwoFolders correctly identified the two files that needed to replaced. However, it also identified four other files as needing to be replaced for reasons I don't understand. The identified files are identical in creation and modification dates, and haven't even been opened in several years. This is obviously not acceptable. Also, I don't know if the devlopers are native English speakers, but the language they use is confusing to put it mildly. Finally, the results window is very hard to read. So my search for a simple, cheap program that will reliably synch two folders goes on. (Version 1.3.3) |
