Safari Cookies | Sep 30 2009 |
VITALY tried it. terribly slow, takes 2-3 min to select/deselect each cookie or even to open its prefs (safari 64 bit). will wait for a better version. still, since it is freeware, i think the developer deserves a thank u for trying (Version 1.1.1)

WEASELBOY I am not seeing the behavior you describe on 10.6.1. You might want to check your console log to see if there is a conflict with some other plugin. (Version 1.1.1)

Safari Cookies | Oct 5 2009 |
MITCH_DE I think that really problematic waiting on respone depends on the count of cookies ! Best is to use favorites and so you can have the cookies cleaned up very fast. So the big waitings are only on the first use of that great cookie manager, not after an first +BIG cookie cleanup. But i think that speed with lots of cookies (beginning of use of the manager) should be speed up by code changes. (Version 1.1.2)

VITALY " it's not for everyone and if you have fast commercial broadband in the U.S. and most of your traffic goes to fast servers in the U.S. you may not notice any improvement." i wish the developer's description had this disclaimer. then i would have been easier for people to decide whether the app is for them or not. VITALY it is true that 4.5 is too expensive for basic functions. but from 4.5's dialogs it appears that when the demo license expires, the program will revert to the free 4.5 version and keep working in this mode (lacking basically 2 advanced features, but retaining 10.6 compatibility). i wonder whether this is true... DHRUVK Middle click to close tabs appears to be inoperative in 1.0b13 with the Safari 4 beta. I suspect this is a side-effect of the tab changes in Safari 4, and am looking forward to seeing it addressed down the line! (Version 1.0b13)

DANCO This is a result of the way OS X works. The keychain is a package, that is a folder that appears as a file. Folders don't change their date when an item is added or removed from them. The developers are looking for a solution to this, but haven't found one as yet. (Version 2.9.7)

VITALY it is not exactly backflow of sync as when i use empty keychain the iphone data d not get downloaded there. it is like entries that exists in the keychain get replaced with the same entries but with older data fro the iphone. the good news is that when i downgrade to b8, sync stops modifying my 1password keychain on the computer. BUT those entries that i modified on the iphone itself do not get updated from the laptop keychain. which is very inconvenient, of course (Version 2.8.3b11)

VITALY b11. when i sync with iphone (this function works now), it seems to transfer back to the laptop the (older) entries, duplicating some of them and reverting others to old data. in other words, sync seems to work backward. (Version 2.8.3b11)

VITALY incompatible with acidsearch. the main problem is that the search history is poorly preserved (unlike with acidsearch) so i do not see previos searchers even though the corresponding option is checked in prefs. this detracts greatly from the usefulness of this software. also the dev is rude. here is my exchange with him: To: Vitaly Citovsky Date: Tue, 31 Oct 2006 Yes, uninstall Acidsearch. On 31-Oct-06, at 12:26 PM, Vitaly Citovsky wrote: i have a comment about inquisitor. it appears incompatible with another safari plugin, acidsearch. the former simply "disables" the latter. is there a way to fix it?
