when installing, make sure your old safari is in the applications folder and has not been moved to another location. otherwise, the installer will indicate the the hard disk is not suitable for installation. |

v086intel crashes on MBP with error Library not loaded: @executable_path/lib/vlc_libintl.dylib Referenced from: /Applications/Video/VLC.app/Contents/MacOS/VLC Reason: image not found UB works fine also for some reason on my MBP vlc has hebrew menus, but on MP desktop, it's ok.. |

incompatible with acidsearch. the main problem is that the search history is poorly preserved (unlike with acidsearch) so i do not see previos searchers even though the corresponding option is checked in prefs. this detracts greatly from the usefulness of this software. also the dev is rude. here is my exchange with him: From: David Watanabe To: Vitaly Citovsky Date: Tue, 31 Oct 2006 Yes, uninstall Acidsearch. here is a completely different software (for safari windows) also called forgetmenot. w/o hyphens, though. i wish the developers coud somehow alter one of the names to avoid confusion |

when i select indicator in menu, it shows a lot of coreduo menuitems, filling my menu space. also auto authentic is weird; why do i need to make a new key chain? needs work |

for some reason, on my g5 2.5ghz and on 2ghz mbp under 10.4.6, both ppc and intel 8.5test3 versions show menu in hebrew, even if i delete all cache and delocalize. 8.5a4 is behaving ok on the same machines. vitaly.citovsky@stonybrook.edu |

yes! one can customize the diplay of the time. i did not know at first and apologize for requesting this feature when it was already there..in fact there is a lot of versatlity in this version. still one thing: i am in new york and use aion to show time in jerusalem, israel. i know that the time difference is 7 hours (as of oct 1, when both counries are on light saving time), but aion shows it as only 6 hours diff (GMT+2 instead of GMT+3); so, i had to manually adjust the difference |

this is a good release, fast and stable. BUT it should not have been a paid new version. instead, this should have been an update for v8 which is less than a year old and is incredibly buggy. the company seems to produce one major release, charge for it, and make it so full of bugs that the users have no choice but buy the next version |

it is a very nice app, but it takes 85% of my cpu according to activity monitor. hope this can be fixed. also i'd like to be able to hide city name and the colon after it |

sorry to post again, but safaributtons for 2.0 is out and it does replace a button, but it removes bug report which seems less useful than font size..still there may be a way to add rather than replace..i hope.. |

when i check the option not to open app window on start, it still opens if hide dock icon is selected! please fix also, it can forecast 10 days, but why is it limited to 5 in the pulldown menu finally, radar image would be nice |

better than ollies as it does not replace buttons. much better. but v027 installed buttons in my english only safari which function but are invisible! so i reverted to 026 and it is fine.. |

i tried several hacks to add print and tab buttons. they all came at the expense of other toolbar buttons, which was onlt barely acceptible. this one, on the other hand, adds buttons, which is perfect. it works flawlessly on my G4 Al PB and G5 2.5 GHz duo under 10.3.8. importantly, the installer restored by bugs button that was gone after i used the previous version (newtabbutton) of this software. and, it is free (i am tired of paying for small, albeit useul, hacks)! one wish, however, is that the developer somehow connected with the makers of safaricon so that the new buttons could be included in safaricons themes and not stand out on my toolbar (i use the oahu theme) thank you so much |

something similar happens to me: i start it ok, then i quit, it does not restart. interestingly, if i replace the app with a new copy of the same version, it starts again, then does not restart after quit. the developer tild me it was a rare problem with my system configuration, although i replicated it on 2 different machines..the bottom line - this version is unusable to me |

10.3.7 US on G5 duo 2.5 G and 15" G5 Ti PB. it asks for password, auhtenticates, and then quits (disappears from menu and does not show up in activity monitor) and does not restart again |

i just gave it a test run vs dvdattache that i use routinely and vs dvd manager which i used before dvdattache. dvd manager is the fastest but contains almost zero info om movies. dvdjuggler has a nice interface, but quite a few bugs (cannot delete movie lists, cannot delete movies from lists, only from library, etc.). most importantly, the juggler imports much less info about movies than attache. so even though attache is slow to open and does not have a clean GUI like juggler, i am sticking with it... |

b6 is perfect. an i love the transparency. in general, this little app is totally OSX. do not change it. but, i would suggest altering the registation field/button such that it becomes unusable/grayed out after registrations (and the name/reg. code is displayed) |

1.3 version has not worked for me for "ages", i even forgot about it and used weatherpop. 1.4, however, works perfectly and i am using it instead of WP again. however, while b1 is just fine, b2 does not run on my AlPB 12" under 10.3.4. it just trying to load, the shows a gray circle with a question mark, and then quits.. |

b2 is out. 2 annoying bugs of window not sticking to top of screen and bottom half of all window staying open are gone. but now, the about box does not show up and prefs window comes up blank |

v2b1 is great but appears to have 2 bugs: (1) the drawer comes off the top of the screen about 1/2"; (2) the drawer does not close all the way, leaving the bottom part with OK button etc. visible. |

when i use force empty trash function of batchmod, next time anything is placed in trash, it is immediately deleted by itself (after a warning dialog) - similar to what you get when you delete from remote servers.. and of course it crashes when window is closed when in background |

just tried v131. add city, type in commack, ny (i did not try other cities), choose weather.com, search, confirm, crash. works ok with wunderground but i prefer weather.com. i guess, it's back to weatherpop again. |

make icon (spring for example) also for sites w/o favicons, so spring with a globe or something..the springs just look so much cooler than default icons of urls thanks |
