VGOKLANI If I do a google search for bing, it takes me to bing.com, and vice versa. From your logic, a google search for bing would take you to google.com (Version 5.0.2)

VGOKLANI After reading your post, I just downloaded the nightly build of AppFresh - it rocks!!!! what an amazing piece of software! I haven't had any problems with quality, especially considering that it is a developer preview. Regarding the thread, I agree with the author, Macupdate advertises itself as a hub where people can download software. I didn't realize that it was a "for-profit" place, that black-lists competing software. No Thanks. (Version 5.0.1)

VGOKLANI Like everyone else, I waited a VERY LONG time for an upgrade. The prior version was an unfinished product, and now they want an upgrade fee? I want my money back... (Version 2.0)

VGOKLANI Snow Leopard builds have been out for the last year, why is the developer releasing these "half-baked" hotfixes? Has he been on vacation for the past year? (Version 1.7.3sl)

DEV Yeah, I must admit we didn't anticipate that the switch to Snow Leopard will require so many things to be fixed. We've been absolutely immersed working on ForkLIft 2.0 for the last 5-6 months, and when we took a look at the SL update about two months ago, it turned out that there are some major technical obstacles (see our forums and blogs for details). Plus, I've been on vacation. (Version 1.7.3sl)

M4C7D I happen to still have v1.2. It runs fine on Snow Leopard. (Version 1.7.3sl)

Adobe Lightroom 3 Beta | Dec 17 2008 |
VGOKLANI For what's worth, I love Aperture with my D200. It is the most amazing piece of software, I love doing frame by frame comparisons, and I love the stacking feature. However, I just got a Panasonic LX3, and it doesn't work with Aperture. This makes a huge mess of everything, and I email steve jobs on a daily basis complaining. Yes I knew the LX3 RAW format wasn't supported, I just *assumed* that they would eventually adapt the format. Stupid me! The real problem is that the RAW format isn't standardized, which it should be. (Version 2.2)

CRAIGSTANTONNZ Really? What's wrong with the icon? It shows photos and it shows Google Earth so it describes the purpose of the app. What were you looking for? (Version 2.0)

CRAIGSTANTONNZ Ahh, a 3D rendered icon. I could probably do that, send me a donation and I'll put it towards a 3D modeling program/graphics editor of my choice. (Version 2.0)

VGOKLANI A very nice program, with one very serious limitation - there is NO way to update auctions after they have been started! This is a serious problem!!! You can't change the pictures, nor can you update the text from within the application. This is a serious shortcoming, which makes it hard to recommend the program. (Version 5.2.2)

LRKIRSCH In case you're not referring to starting on level 11 or higher, you can choose New With Options in the Game menu. (Version 3.5.2)

VGOKLANI Can you add multiple levels to the game, so I can automatically start at a higher speed. I also have a high resolution screen, could you make things larger too. (Version 3.5.1)

VGOKLANI This is a great app! But don't bother downloading this version, go to the author's website and get the "bleeding edge beta", which now supports Growl! The author is very responsive to emails, and actually listens to your suggestions/comments.... (Version 2.5)

VGOKLANI This thing has serious limitations: 1. Does not support nested folders But more importantly, the developers have vehemently opposed the idea of supporting this concept! My opinion on the subject, give the users (aka the guys who are actually paying for thing) some voice. 2. Does not support nested smart folders. This is just plain ridiclous...presumably, it will be added at a later date, but come on? 3. Only imports PDFs and RTF/txt files... what about jpegs, and more importantly, OmniOutliner files? 4. A feature request, perhaps they could incorporate their award winning text editor into the preview pane, so that I could automatically edit source code in a proper text editor. It would also be nice if the authors could actually tell their users what the up-and-coming features would be, since they are slow to post updates, and seem to enjoy secrecy (although not to the same extent as Mr. Jobs) (Version 1.4.2)

GarageSale | Apr 16 2007 |
VGOKLANI 1. There is no way to determine the listing fees until after the auction is listed. 2. It doesn't monitor the auctions after it's been listed, and more importantly, it doesn't have a framework for relisting the auction. 3. There is no interface for editing the auction while it's in progress 4. Ugly UI. - lacks style. (Version 3.1.2)

GARY.CARPENTER 1. not true: Just choose "Get Listing Fees" from the Template menu, no matter if the auction is posted or not 2. not true: You can track your auction in Auction mode. You can relist/revise your auction by clicking on "Revise"/"Relist". 3. not true: Just edit the template in question and hit revise. 4. I like it - it's clean and mac like, not overloaded and slow like ISale. How long did you test GarageSale? 3 seconds? (Version 3.1.3)

LEV Come to that, why not just use Preview? Or Acrobat? On a PC? And write your papers in Excel (after all, it's got text fields)? Outlining? Just use tabs in TextEdit, why not. Yep, in my experience, is better than Yojimbo. Quicker, easier, more "intelligent" and does my stuff. There's always a "why not just..?" to be put forward (why not just retire to the Indian Ocean islands and lead a simpler, better life?) but they're not, generically, very helpful in the long run. (Version 1.5)

eBay Watcher | Jul 23 2006 |
VGOKLANI Works beautifully - for those of you complaining about the two licences, get a life! - it's only five bucks, and well worth it! I do have a few suggestions, the UI needs a serious facelift - it would be cool if I could see all three auctions simultaneously. I don't care about screen real estate. You also need to show the sellers items (I am sure this will be in 3.2)...Also the yellow doesn't work for me, this widget needs some style! Good job though!! (Version 3.1)

The Missing Sync for Palm OS | Jul 20 2006 |
VGOKLANI works really well with my Treo 700p - amazingly well actually. it makes sending stuff to the phone (movies, address book contacts (and groups - which iSync can't do!!!), ical, etc) very trivial! I was initially turned off by all the bad reviews - I guess those people didn't read the users guide! (Version 5.1)
