that's great, but why should I use this over the free and perfectly functional MAX Beta?

What advantage, if any, does this have over MAX? Given that I cannot convert even 1 full track with the Trial version it is impossible to get a good comparison without buying. NOT useful at all.

I need a compelling reason to buy. Anyone?

Hey. I recall some time ago having similar problems. Since the iClock folks didn't bother to answer I hunted down and deleted the whole app, which took a while.

Then on a whim I installed a newer version, and it worked perfectly. Turns out that's the way to do it: you have to remove every trace of the previous build. Best way to do that [for free] is AppDelete, which you'll find at freemacware.com.

It's still on 3.0.5, still buggy as ever, but the install will work.
