i usually use the client aMSN, and with proxy-settings (http) for the server and use port 80. this works well here at work with a strong firewall turned on.

when i tried Adium, all that happens is it says it couldnīt connect to the msn network.

i installed the beta-version, and this time i got logged in once, but when i tried to chat i got a message it could not be sent. then i quit it, and the next time i started Adium, it didnīt log in either.

it therefore seems very unstable to me.

i have problems with understanding how to use the browser plugin.

i have installed flip4mac, and maybe there is a conflict between these?

i use Firefox here at work, and iīm not able to watch any wmv (even with flip4mac). anyone knows how to make Firefox reset all videosettings?

and then try to use vlc plugin perhaps?

you can install something called flip4mac, that lets you play wmv-files in quicktime.

also, you can e.g. try the app vlc. it also plays wmv-files :-)

But I find this program to be rather slow, and you canīt seem to let it load a whole logo (e.g. logo with more than 1 type in the font), which would be the main argument for using a software like this... you can actually do this at the forementioned website: whatthefont.

It actually found the font I was looking for at my harddrive, but it also listed at least 200 other fonts as well. So, since the right font got the best score I have to say Iīm glad it worked, although it is very slow. I will continue to try it a bit more
