Thanks Guntis, I will try Logic Express then, hope the few quirks you mentioned are no serious bugs. I was really angry about this "Amadeus"-thing, - it is so sad when you spend a nice & sunny saturday afternoon on your Mac, try out an app and all your results are lost then because of stupid bugs. Maybe the developers think, if they sell cheap they don't need to bugfix their apps well, but it is the time the tester wastes that counts, that is far more worth than the little money. And multiplicate that with the many testers, what a big waste of time that is. OK, let's test Logic Express tomorrow, hope tomorrow will be a rainy day ;-) |

Not good, to buggy. It crashes completely on some of the vst-mda plugins here. I lost 4 hours of work, after the crash my file couldn't be opened anymore. But no problem, my time is not so important. Thank you Mr. Hairer. No, this is not SoundEdit on OS X. It just a buggy look-a-like. It was always buggy and unstable under OS 9 and now continues this tradition under OS X, well done, really. -> Trash Amadaeus is/was always buggy, Sound Studio is and was always buggy, Audacity is the pure horror, - So what to buy for midpriced semipro audio work on OS X? |

I won't buy it since the german translation is made by an idiot or 13 years old PC-guy. It is often false or simply stupid or not Mac-like. "get nuts" is translated to "werd verrückt"? _That_ is nuts. Stupid word by word translation. It must be "irre" or "abgedreht", "überdreht" or something like that. Your humor is completely lost. You often have to look in the english PDF to know what is ment with the "german" words or descriptions. Also more options for audio would be great |
