Yummy FTP

TOAD  I tried this program. The first thing it put up was a screen saying my trial period was over. So I never got to try it. Ah well, back to the duck.

YUMMY SOFTWARE  I'm very sorry to hear that... did you ever try Yummy before? If so, that will be why. If not, please get in touch and I'll send you a free license for evaluation.

WIDGE34  I can read my Gmail account from Opera fine.

You may have to experiment with site preferences and have the prefs identify the site as Opera. Gmail does not seem to work if you identify as firefox or IE.

TOAD  I have now managed to import my GEDCOM file. The Osk only exports 61 of my 3220 records to the web and fails to produce a main.css that it relies on. Author pls note.

TOAD  Looks neat and clean. Appears to use SQLite. I tried several times, but was unable to import my Gedcom file. Until I can do this, the product is useless to me.

THOMAS BAECKER, UNIVERSE SOFTWARE  Tiger installation:

It seams that Tiger OS still contains some bugs running Java applications. In particular if you install Security Update 2005-006 you may have problems with Java applications after that. We hope Apple will solve these problems asap.
