THEPRINT Actually, rebooting might not work. It didn't for me. What I did was open the Activity Monitor (found in Applications > Utilities) and manually shut down the Abyss webserver. Only then was I able to empty the trash. (Version 3.0.0.42)

THEPRINT This is why I love the internet: I post a review and get a response from the developer. As for creating a better uninstall and updating information, that's awesome! Two thumbs up. I would have probably sent an e-mail with my problem, had I not been able to solve it myself. Like I said, it took me about half an hour to figure out; usually you have to wait longer than that to get e-mail response. :) (Version 3.0.0.41)

THEPRINT This app offers some really nice features, that I as a small business owner had been looking for. I was thrilled when I started using it, but eventually found that the way it was organized, didn't fit with my way of working. The flow just wasn't there. This is just me being kinda picky, so I'm not blaming the software itself for that. My problem came, when I decided to remove the app from my computer. I had no idea about the inner workings of Pagico, but I soon had to learn, because of the Abyss webserver, that Pagico installed alongside. I was unable to remove Pagico, because the server was still running. It took me some research to find out what was going on, and how to remedy it. All in all, I would say it took me about half an hour to uninstall an application. I might as well have been using a PC. In conclusion, Pagico might be good for some, but not for me. Either way, don't expect a smooth uninstall, if you decide to go with something else. (Version 3.0.0.41)

RYO I'm sorry for the uninstall experience. We'll definitely come up with a better uninstall solution, as well as a website section providing relevant information. Actually, you should contact us when you had problems. We're replying to all our income emails. Thank you again. (Version 3.0.0.41)

RYO It's great to hear from you again! But you know what, we probably can reply your email in less than the time you spent --- but never mind. Thanks for your message. We'll do whatever it takes to improve our software. Thanks again! (Version 3.0.0.41)

Actually we've JUST added an uninstaller application to our latest build. Please take your time, download it again from our website, install it, then you'll see the uninstaller. Use it to uninstall safely and quickly. Or, if you don't want to go through the hassle again, you can just trash the "Pagico" folder in your "Applications" folder, then restart your computer before emptying the trash (you wouldn't be able to empty it without restarting). Thank you, and sorry for the inconvenience of not having the uninstaller at the first place. (Version 3.0.0.42)

How did you manual shut the server off. I don't even see it in the process list in Activity Monitor. btw, uninstaller is not in the new installer. (Version 3.0.0.42)

To use the uninstaller (recommended), please download the latest version of Pagico (Standard) for mac, install it. After the installation, you'll find the new "Uninstall Pagico" application in your "Applications -> Pagico" folder. The uninstaller is not directly included in the downloaded package. Thank you! KIDCLAM I downloaded our installer again, installed the software and... NO UNINSTALLER. This is getting so lame. (Version 3.0.0.42)

We've just double checked the file downloaded from our server, that after the installation, the "Uninstall Pagico" application is there, in the Pagico folder. It could be caused that you were downloading a cached version of the package, or you were probably have downloaded multiple packages from our website and used the wrong one. I'm sorry for the inconvenience of not attaching the uninstaller in the first place. But please understand that we're actively helping. (Version 3.0.0.42)

KIDCLAM I have received your uninstaller from email, but there are items in the trash that still cannot be trashed, namely "php", "ioncube_loader_dar_5.2.so"... anyone know how to trash? (Version 3.0.0.42)

Pagico Professional | Mar 15 2008 |
RYO Please try rebooting your computer to resolve this. You'll see the message that the ioncube things can not be deleted if you have trashed the Pagico folder manually without rebooting. So rebooting your machine will resolve the issue. Thanks! (Version 3.0.0.42)
