Type: CommentsDate: 15 Jan 2008 15:53It could be that our systems are different. I am on an Intel iMac with Leopard installed. Other than this I am stumped.

All of the above can be added to any task. Just double-click the task to expand it then drop stuff in the Notes area.

Type: CommentsDate: 27 Dec 2007 18:16Oops! I meant to give DeskShade an overall rating of 5. Sorry!
![]()
Type: ReviewDate: 27 Dec 2007 18:15I noticed that when I switched to another user and then back again using quick user switching DeskShade was no longer running. I emailed the developer and within one working day the problem was fixed. Great support for a great program.

Type: DeveloperDate: 1 Dec 2007 11:06roro01: ResizeIt and Drag-N-Scale take different approaches to resizing. The main feature of Drag-N-Scale is visual resizing. You don't have to enter any width or height numbers, just resize the window. You don't need to worry about the email feature. There is no fishing going on here although I understand your concern. A future version of Drag-N-Scale will automate this process and use your default mail application.

Type: DeveloperDate: 30 Nov 2007 19:06GUFFIN: Drag-N-Scale is programmed not to increase the size of images since doing so would result in pixelation of the image.

Type: ReviewDate: 29 Nov 2007 00:03You really have to work with this application to appreciate its power. I have tried many info managers over the years and Together has proven to be the best of the bunch. You can add virtually anything (email, iCal events, documents, applications, etc.) and organize these items a variety of ways (folders, smart folders, groups, smart groups, tags, labels, etc.). Drag and drop functionality is extensive. Anything that Quick View can preview can be previewed in Together. I am still discovering just how comprehensive this application really is. Add to all of this a responsive developer and continuous development and you have a program that is easy to recommend.

Type: CommentsDate: 27 Nov 2007 23:38Nice but the Show In Finder menu item doesn't do anything. However, it isn't really necessary since double-clicking a folder opens it in the Finder.

Type: ReviewDate: 27 Nov 2007 14:23This product is solid and powerful. I have been using it for several years and am a very satisfied customer. It just keeps getting better and better. Support is timely and reliable. More actions are being developed all the time which make for a continually expanding feature set. There is also a very helpful and active community of Freeway users who are always there to lend their expertise.

Type: CommentsDate: 15 Nov 2007 11:18I emailed the author about this but received not reply. It appears that using TuneBar to switch playlist doesn't actually switch the playlist in iTunes.
If I start a playlist in iTunes and then use TuneBar to switch to another playlist that part works. However, if I pause the tune in the new playlist when I unpause it the paused tune does not resume. Instead the original playlist starts over.

Type: ReviewDate: 5 Nov 2007 22:39I'm using Flock on an Intel iMac with Leopard. Absolutely flawless performance. This is the best browser I have yet come across. It has the special social network features but you are not forced to use them. They are just there and can be invoked as desired. Brilliant design!

Type: DeveloperDate: 29 Aug 2007 13:45I am the developer of Cameleon. SHOCK J remarks, "This program doesn't really "do" anything. It's a glorified file browser with built-in preview."
I can certainly see how this might seem to be the case at first glance and I would like to address this impression.
I created Cameleon to simplify my workflow when modifying web themes and templates. Cameleons unified interface gives me easy access to all the files within a theme or template. With text files I can edit them directly in Cameleon or, if I wish I can open the text files in the text editor of my choice for a particular file type.
For me the most useful image manipulation feature is Cameleons capability to replace theme or template images with drag and drop. If I attempt to replace an image with one that has different dimensions from that of the image being replaced, Cameleon will give me the option to resize the new image to match the dimensions of the original.
Other features that may not at first be obvious but that can be very handy are:
- option to edit text files within Cameleon
- search and replace strings withing text files within Cameleon
- minimizes desktop clutter
- search name, contents, or both of all text files of a theme or template with one click
- built in web browser for previewing html files
Personally, I have found Cameleon to be a real time-saver. Your milage may vary.

Type: CommentsDate: 13 Jun 2007 15:45Hey Dr. Infinity. Boy did you miss the point!
This game is obviously aimed at a young female audience and as such it's right on the money. It does a very nice job of avoiding the hunt-shoot-kill-blood type of format that puts many girls off games. It has attractive graphics, fun and simple but not simple-minded puzzles, soothing music, and a story line that will appeal to its audience.
A product, any product, should be evaluated according to its intended audience; not by blind personal biases.

Type: CommentsDate: 19 Mar 2007 11:54Some way to access help would be nice. I would like to know what the buttons do and how to add more than one item. Whenever I add a new item the existing item is replaced. Also, what about moving items to other applications?

Type: ReviewDate: 15 Mar 2007 00:04This app is just what I need to keep track of my somewhat eclectic collection of tasks. It actually helps me get stuff done because I don't have to spend time organizing things; iGTD does this for me. Also, the developer is really responsive to feedback. I sent a couple of suggestions and he implemented them almost immediately. I keep iGTD running all the time now and refer to it constantly.

Type: ReviewDate: 3 Jan 2007 12:27The author contacted me and has very promptly fixed the crashing problem associated with collapsing expanded folders. Excellent support and now I have a stable application.

Type: ReviewDate: 2 Jan 2007 12:08I have registered NoteMind and downloaded every update but it is still crashing when collapsing expanded folders. For this reason it is still unusable for me. I hope the developers can resolve this issue at some point because I like the overall concept and design of NoteMind.

Type: ReviewDate: 25 Dec 2006 20:10This is a very elegantly designed program. It fills a need that has been around since the advent of OS 10. In OS 9 there was TypeStyler and now for Tiger we have its successor, Art Text. Like most OS X applications it blows its OS 9 counterpart out of the water. Art Text is very easy to use and yet almost endlessly flexible.

Type: ReviewDate: 18 Nov 2006 12:55Holey cow! This looks like it! The app I've been waiting for. Hierarchical organization AND mind-mapping for $20! I'm in!
It's fast and solid. For a version 1.0 it's very impressive. There are a few minor feature tweaks I'd like to see but overall a great debut.

Type: CommentsDate: 14 Oct 2006 20:52I just took a quick look but soon discovered that this app copies everything that you add to it into its own folders. If you add a folder of items every item in the folder gets duplicated which means your hard drive's storage is being taken up with duplicate files. Perhaps EagleFiler could create aliases to added folders and files instead of duplicating them.

Type: CommentsDate: 3 Oct 2006 16:57Ditto, no script menu on my Intel iMac. I checked the Library folders where items should be installed and they were all there (after I created a Safari folder in the Application Support folder). I tried restarting my machine but still no joy.

Type: ReviewDate: 4 Jul 2006 10:58I own copies of StickyBrian, DevonThink, Mori, Curio, Dossier, and Formation. I have used them all but for one reason or another have kept looking for a program with just the right combination of features. I have just started using Journler but I think I may have found it at last. Journler is the most powerful data organizer I have ever used. It is fast, clean, efficient and intuitive. The support is excellent and the price (free) is incredible for such a sophisticated application.

Type: ReviewDate: 19 Jun 2006 23:36I have tried quite a few info organizers and Mori beats them all. It doesn't lock you into one way of organizing, nor does it limit the types of info that you can organize with it. Also, unlike some other products I have tried, the developer is quite to respond to questions and participates in the user forums. Mori is fast and reliable and sells for a very reasonable price.

Type: ReviewDate: 15 Apr 2006 11:04This is exactly what I have been looking for. Fast, thorough, and configurable seaching of files and file contents. It's everything that Spotlight should have been. Even though it's a beta I have had no problems with this great little app.

Type: CommentsDate: 15 Feb 2006 11:06The dealbreaker for me is the inability to have sub-categories. This limitation makes Yojimbo to confining for my needs.
