Cisco VPN Client

TAS50  Interesting since I don't have a support contract. I guess I shouldn't complain there.

Cisco VPN Client

TAS50  I was having a bit of trouble believing Cisco would charge for this so I tried to login and download it using my Cisco guest account. Worked without any issues. You might want to give it a try again. The client should always be free. They charge you a per user fee on the VPN devices. That's where they make the money.

TAS50  This version has much better support for passive mode on the airport extreme cards in the Macbooks and Macbook Pros. If you want to see the full change log you have to got to the website and look at the commits in track from the current revision to the previous revision. It's a lot of small stuff and a ton of crashers.

TAS50  Hey Lemke,

Perhaps you've noticed that everyone hates 6.0. It's slow. The interface is a giant step backwards. Worst yet the layers are just BAD (as in they make working in GC awful). I've paid for GC twice (that's how much I loved it). I just want to download 5.9. It worked and it worked great. 6.0 isn't even worth pirating. Give me a 5.0 download.

ROGERTJACKSON  Everybody? No, not everybody. Not even close. I just downloaded v.6.0.2 and just kept rolling along with it. I had a minor interface question, so I updated Mr. Lemke, who responded to me promptly, as he always does. I've been a satisfied, paying customer for years.

TAS50  Nice software, but they need a reality check on the price. I pay less for my OS than I do for their updates with my student discount. Their prices are completely unrealistic.

TAS50  How is this program so big? What keeps it from being anything less than 500k if it's just a front for some *nix commands.

TAS50  Prove that most users are on Panther. I highly doubt that most are using the old OS since Apple has sold so many new computers in the last year.

TAS50  This is a great utility for tweaking your Oracle databases. I'm just learning SQL and Oracle's quirks and this utility has saved me lots of time.

TAS50  Very slick application. Runs great. The 2.0 beta is even better with a much nicer theme, integrated spell checking, and auto complete in the search window.

TAS50  I'm going to assume that nice new features like this are available on Intel Macs because of the "dual BIOS" (or should I say dual EFI) features available from just about every manufacturer these days.

StuffIt Expander 2010
Sep 21 2006

TAS50  I'm really not impressed with the latest release of this product. It continues to be horribly slow and an entire release has one new feature only. wow... They don't even have a universal binary of the real application. These guys should merge with Adobe. It would be a wonderful combination.

TAS50  I've been using Mozilla since before 1.0 and things have gotten even better with Firefox. This is an amazing application with a lot of dedicated Mac developers constantly working out the issues. Kills IE and gives Safari a run for its money.
