TACHY0N  Using this recently, I found a few things:

Firstly, it's really slow. Yes I am trying it out on an older mac, but it runs even more slowly than other applications.

Secondly, during the "Copying Art to iTunes" phase. I am getting a lot of errors that read:

"Error reading file MacHD:Users:myusername:Library:Application Support:FetchArt:AlbumName.jpg.pict."

Thirdly, it's kind of clunky. I mean, why do I want to build a list, then have to select all and tell it to copy into the song? Don't I just want to select the song/s and choose "FetchArt" from the scripts menu and have it find the album art and embed it into the song?

GimmeSomeTune works this way, but without all the errors.

TACHY0N  As of version 2.9 it couldn't handle .MOD files from a JVC camera. MOD files are actually a kind of MPEG-2.

I had to use VisualHub instead.

TACHY0N  Rare, the list of features in the blurb is enough to tell me it's easier and faster to use than with Disk Utility.

DU might be fine for you, because you know what you're doing and also don't mind a few extra steps... or perhaps you write your own Applescripts/Actions.

This might be perfect for users less knowledgable that you and me.

TACHY0N  I have been looking for a Remote solution and I have only tried out Sofa Control. Mira is another contender, but Remote Buddy is getting glowing reviews. Could this be The One?

TACHY0N  Although this software lies in the shadow of QuicKey's legacy, if it does more than 50% of what QuicKeys does at only a fraction of the price, then it has to be worth a look. So many functions are repetitive on a computer and they're supposed to be here to make life easier! KM will let me get on with life while the computer does all the work.

TACHY0N  I have this running fine on OS X 10.4.9 but on a G3. Perhaps it was never compiled properly for G4s?

Anyway the website domain is no longer registered, so I think this is abandonware. Too bad, it looked promising.
