The documentation is out of date. Those cameras are supported. :-)

Let me know if this fixes:

a) The missing small slices in the plugin or stand alone

b) The missing large tiles in the plugin or stand alone app

I have one user still reporting the bugs and I need to know which macs this is an issue on and which Macs it works.

Thomas took his PTLens private about a year ago. You won't see any new lenses in his old database. Check his site at epaperpress.com. I licensed the new version of the PTLens database from Thomas.

FYI, LensFix CI does not use Panotools for processing, is for correcting distortion, perspective, chromatic aberrations and vignetting individual images (Hugin is for stitching images). In addition, LensFix CI has over 500 camera and lens presets. Maybe someone will develop a free source of gasoline for my car. Compare LensFix CI with other distortion correcting programs and not photo stitchers.

Can you post your source images somewhere and let me know where they are so I can test to see what is different between the versions? My email is kekus at my domain name.

Thanks,

Kevin

The difference is that the SIFT included with PTMac is licensed from the inventor. The SIFT linked from the Hugin site is only to be used for non-commercial work.

My replies were to point out your errors claiming that no preview, etc. was available in PTMac. Somehow you seem insulted that I pointed out your mistakes but that is to be expected as a lot of your 'reviews' are off the cuff inaccurate postings to which developers need to clarify.

PTMac includes a licensed SIFT feature to create control points automatically. The automatic control point generator is found on the Control Points tab. Press the "Auto match" button. PTMac can even automatically arrange your images,

PTMac also has two preview options. You can use the panorama editor window for a rough preview and to edit windows or you create an interactive QTVR for previewing.
