SXTYNNMACH1  Just use Renamer4Mac. It's free and works excellently with native Cocoa UI and works in Leopard.

JAN_RYBAR  Renamer4Mac: Can do less, it's buggy. It's free, but not better.

VERYCARLA  Buggy? Hardly. Sadly it's no longer free. It's actually MORE expensive than ABFR. What was the author thinking? Search me!

*****

SXTYNNMACH1  This is a great, aesthetically pleasing solitaire program. It is very stable, you can select your own custom card backs, and the stacks seem to "hover" over your desktop or working space. Kudos to the developer(s)!

SXTYNNMACH1  With the real-time display of the changes before they take effect are brilliant. The added functionality of the Regular Expressions are a huge bonus. Many thanks to the developer(s) for offering this free of charge!

Bugzilla

SXTYNNMACH1  Bugzilla is for developing programs efficiently. If you don't know how it works, don't review it.

As stated before, Firebird is a cross-platform product. That is why they don't spend extra hours trying to make it "mac-ish" or "windows-esque." They try to make good programs that any platform can use effectively.

World of Warcraft

****½

SXTYNNMACH1  In it's beginnings, this game had the charm to convert me from FFXI in mere minutes of playtime.

It had the replay capture to deter me from stopping to even try other MMORPGs.

It also had a well desined economy and community.

However, with its 2-year mark approaching, I have become rather disgusted with the turns that Blizzard has taken with its latest franchise.

Little to no developement has been taken since Beta to improve the game for the casual gamer or the silent adventurer. All thought seems to be placed in improving the top-level items, skills, and rewards. This would not be so bad if it did not make the trip to get to these top levels so bitterly boring and aggrivating.

With the new level cap set to 70, even all those gamers who were content to reach the top level and start a new class now feel as if their journey to the top has now been taken away. The game has turned into a constant struggle to sell one's soul to a pvp or pve guild's time to gain the top-tier items. Gamers you meet on the way to the top in the world are less eager to help for free, consider new gamers hopelessly underinformed, and are less willing to party for quests that do not involve a key reward for that level.

This game was well designed to captivate your time to the world, and is now being improved only to force gamers to give up innappropriate amounts of time to the game to feel any sense of accomplishment.

Its developers are very willing to correct mistakes and bugs, but their direction in improving the game leaves gamers like me dissapointed.

This game rewards players with the time they give much more than gamer's skill.
