Sorry to say I agree with the comments about MacUpdate Desktop having gone to sleep, or died, or merely gone AWOL. It isn't doing anything. And even when you add something via the website it doesn't show up on Desktop. Try to install something from Desktop to the Watch List and the program just spins its wheel. Fix it or I'll go back to Version Tracker, which has its own problems. |

It has great promise. I'm not commonly an early adopter, but I like what I see of this mail software and in the short time I've been using it the updates have added dimension to it. Give it a try. |

This is a wonderful program for anyone who wants to manipulate images more than iMovie allows but not get into terribly sophisticated (and much more expensive) software. Once you get the hang of it, you'll find it very easy to use. And Chris Meyer at LQ Graphics is aces. I had an issue when I was trying to build a movie using a number of small, black & white images of 75-year vintage, and he promptly gave me good guidance. He also said 4.1 was going to be even better; I'm eager to use it. Cheers, Swamijim |

How interesting. Within a few hours after I posted that lament, Sonic Solutions emailed that the disc had shipped. They also said my credit card "has now been charged." What they omitted was that the card had been charged last week. |

Be advised if you order Toast Titanium X9 on disc it will take a while. I ordered six days ago and it still has not shipped. |

There's no indication in the upgrade from 10.5 what has been changed to resolve incompatabilities, so I'm not touching it until that is made clear. I twice had to restore my hard drive because 10.5 was not compatible with Apple Mail, with MacUpdate Desktop or, perhaps worst, with Time Machine. |
