alright, new registration system, worked out well, downloaded a license-file and this time after a system update Saft didn't cease to work.

Was a cool app before, just the registration system made it bad. Now with a normal licensing system, it's a wonderful app. Love it!

I got really (!) annoyed with the support.

The app is great and I'd love it if I could use it.

But the paranoic approach of the registering system is an impertinence of the other kind. Especially regarding that you can have a free alternative with Safari Stand and the prize of Saft is rather cheap.

With each update of Safari (this time from 3.1 to 3.11), Saft refuses to work completely. My update Code doesn't work for days, the Website tells me, my account doesn't exist (my email is definitely right) and blocks the login for quite some time (paranoid). So I end up missing features I have just implemented in my daily workflow.

The developer hasn't responded to any of my email requests.

I think I'm gonna switch back to Safari Stand..

It's a cool tool but with this kind of ridiculous "copy protection" and support, it's just completely useless. I highly recommend everyone NOT to buy it as long as the developer doesn't change that system.

Well, I got the prompt to install an update and I didn't see a note that my license will expire after updating. Maybe I missed it but it can not have been stated that clearly in the dialogues. It never happened to me that a license expired because I auto-updated an app. Not very polite way.

Even worse: I purchased SD with the MacHeist bundle (it was actually one of the main reasons to get the bundle) and there was no hint from Yazsoft that it would be a limited promo license. Now they say that MacHeist purchasors are not entitled to a free upgrade to V5 even my purchase isn't even a month ago and should be in the time-frame for free upgrades... strange marketing here.

I hope YazSoft reconsiders this as I really like SD but I'm not willing to deal with marketing tactics like this so if there's not a change of course, I will turn my back on that company before I get really used to the tool. Don't wanna face more strange surprises...
