SURFSURF I see, good reason for both < and >. I would be happy if I could map the ">" function to another key, as using shift+< is rather uncomfortable. If you could add both functions to the menu, I could do that via the system preference. (Version 1.3.1)

As for the beeping: I'll check if it is a InputManager interfering. A new bug: In the Process/review windows, I cannot delete the task. Backspace or delete do nothing. A suggestion: Instead of using < and >, just use <. This way, you do not have to remember (or think about) which one you have to use in the current view, you just hit the key. It is a toggle anyway, so there is no advantage in using two keys. (And I prefer <, as > is the shift symbol of the < key for me :-) Also, copy and paste of a finder file inserts just the pure filename, not the full path. (Version 1.3.1)

SURFSURF Oh, and on the beeping in the tags and contacts fields: you do have that as well, or is this something only on my box? (Version 1.3)

SURFSURF Wow, you are the best! :-) I have another wishlist item you might consider: Making syncing of "maybe" task with iCal optional to reduce clutter. That way, I can see what is up next in e.g. a ToDo widget without the "consider sometime" items. (Version 1.3)

When you create a new task and tab into the "Due" field, selecting a date in the date picker will not show the selected date until you unfocus the "Due" field. Question: What are tags for? Will there be a way to filter by tag or something? Sorting of tasks: When I have a task with no due date (e.g. a "maybe" one) it will be sorted in the "To complete" list above tasks with due dates when sorting by due date. In "To complete" view, sorted by due date. Select a task with a due date. The due date will be marked gray in the date picker. Double click the due date of the task and delete it. The old date is still gray in the picker. Clicking the old, gray due date in the date picker will not select the date. Same setup, double click the due date, press delete, select a date from the picker, click on another task to finish -> new due date will not be picked up. Big wishlist: Mark an task as recurring every $SOMETHING (as in iCal), so that marking it complete it will just change its due date to the new date. Hope this helps in making iGTD even more polished. SURFSURF iGTD looks very nice, congratulations to the author. There are some bugs though that let me go argh. In projects view, you cannot change the priority of a task by clicking on the numbers. When searching in the included address book view results in one contact only, clicking on the contact will not transfer that name to the task. You have to delete the search term or make it wider so that it matches more than one contact, then you can click on the name again to transfer it to the task. The app beeps on my for every letter I type into the tags or contacts field. Is this a hint of a forthcoming completion for these fields (Version 1.3)

wow, thanks for these reports. some comments: 1. selecting from AB after filtering to ONE record - true! it doesn't work because iGTD waits for changes of selection - and there can be no selection change if there's only one record shown... will try to fix that. in 1.3.1 I've just added the autocompletion in contacts field, it may be helpful until I remove the bug 2. Changing priority in projects tab - fixed! get 1.3.1 release 3. "The app beeps on my for every letter I type into the tags or contacts field. " - puh, got no idea what it can be... gotta think about it. 4. Calendar problems - known bugs. Trying to fix it! 5. Recurring tasks - of course, they will be in the next release - till next Saturday! (Version 1.3)

BARTEK BARGIEL forgot two issues: 1. sorting with due dates - I know about the problem, I don't like this behaviour too and am currently trying to investigate the problem. 2. tags - current concept is only for tagging and searching by tags. There will be next concept using tags but it will be implemented in next 2-3 weeks. Hope it's gonna be a small revolution... :-) You can currently search by tags by just clicking the drop down menu in search field and selecting 'Find by tag'. If you can't find it, go to http://bargiel.home.pl/iGTD/ and scroll down to the bottom of the page - there's a screenshot available. (Version 1.3)

1. beeping - no beeping on my mac... :-( that's why it looks difficult to fix :) 2. optional syncing - of course, there will be more syncing options (planned for next major release): - sync all tasks / pending only / flagged only I guess syncing of flagged tasks will be quite useful. This way i.e. you get the most important tasks synced to your phone :-) (Version 1.3)

BARTEK BARGIEL well, I guess you're right. BUT have a look on the Pending tab. You can use < to switch to context and > to project. So that's why I added support to < in Project tab and > in Contexts tab. beeping: I'll be glad for your help :-) delete/backspace: you're right! will be fixed in next fix release! thanks! MP3 Alarm Clock | Feb 3 2007 |
SURFSURF >>Anybody who doesn't like this app becuz it doesn't wake your computer should spend less time with their computer.<< People who need the wake feature probably spend less time with their computers than you. They put their computers to sleep when they do not use them for an extended period of time. Should they have to leave the computer running over night so the alarm can kick in in the morning? This is legit requirement for an ALARM CLOCK. (Version 2.2)

JAZZADDICT I'm getting the same error. I tried unistalling my previous settings and then installing what I wanted and it worked once, but now is not working again. (Version 3.0.3)
