A must-have application. I use a variety of software applications, ranging from typesetting and word-processing, to email, to spreadsheets and databases. Maintaining consistency of spellings across all of these types of apps is critical, but multiple user dictionaries prove to be a pain in the proverbial. Spell Catcher has solved that problem for me, and does its job well and in the background. It's fast, and the dictionaries seem to be very comprehensive so far. The task I'm working on has some pretty technical medical terminology, and the British English medical dictionary is handling it really well. And the one time I've had to contact the developer (an educational pricing query), not only did he contact me very quickly indeed with a very satisfactory answer, but he also apologised for the time it took to reply! I'm impressed, and I recommend Spell Catcher with no reservations. |

This product is magic. It does exactly what it claims to do, and fast. Not only that, but the developer contacted me within hours when I reported a "bug" (which turned out to be a problem with InDesign finding graphic files but not updating file-path information for the links, despite a change to a folder name), and kept contacting me until the problem was resolved. Even if you used this only as a calculator for effective resolution it would be amazing. That it can then optimize images to that resolution automatically makes it a must-have, especially for those producing print-ready InDesign files. Highly recommended. Still working well in OS X 10.4.2. It takes a little bit of configuring to specify file types, and I'd love to be able to search inside a number of file types at one time, but otherwise it's a great app -- fast, stable and indispensible to me (at least until Spotlight can look inside more file types than it currently does). Highly recommended. |

Is there even a whisper out there about a possible release date for Path Finder 4? |
