STARKNIGHTS  Still not working on my MacPro with HD4870.

Console outputs:

Build Log for Device[0]:

then after 15 seconds or so:

setupComputeDevices() failed: -7

and then I'll have to force quit the app.

Hope the X.6.1 update will fix the ati drivers.

MITCH_DE  OpenCL Framework got noz updated with 10.6.1. ATI users must wait for an 10.6.2 or an extra Apple / ATI OpenCL Update.

Not really an problem for waiting, because no OpenCL application is on the market and i think the first will be developed end of 2009, where ati users sure got their OpenCL Framework fixed by Apple/ATI.

MITCH_DE  No, Pixelmator, aner very good Photoapplication "only" supports CoreImage. CoreImage also uses GPU for computing, but only for doing pictures. CoreImage cant do any universal computing (by programming in OpenCL) . OpenCL focus is different. Also GPU requirements are much higher than CoreImage!

STARKNIGHTS  Hallo Mitch,

ich habe das Tool auf meiner 4870 getestet. Desaströse Ergebnisse ;) 6 (cpu) zu 4 (gpu) Sekunden.

Allerdings steht bei mir bei der 4870, dass sie nur 4 Recheneinheiten hätte (im Vergleich zu den 32 Kernen der nVidias schon seltsam).

Kann es dort eventuell ein Konfigurationsproblem geben?

Allerdings friert die Grafikausgabe während des Test auch komplett ein, was ja dann wieder für einen tatsächlich ausgelasteten Grafikprozessor spricht :(

Hast du eventuell irgendwelche Informationen, ob die ATI Treiber noch nicht ganz rund sind?

STARKNIGHTS  me too.

Have been using version 1 for about two years now with my k750i. love this tool and the possibility to backup sms. this ist the only thing i really dislike about my 3g.

STARKNIGHTS  doesn't work in tiger, anymore.

That's really sad, because I love this app...

Please build a tiger compatible version.

Error:

Works as long, as no feed is added (deleting the prefs removes the feeds and renders the app "useable")

I can change all of the prefs without any problem, but when even one feed is added, the app freezes. There is some network traffic, but the gui doesnt respond anymore.

Anyway: Good work!
