SSNICKERER Anyone know if SiteSucker has the capability of downloading FLV files? The manual says it scans SWF files, but FLV files are never downloaded for me... (Version 2.3)

DONEBYLEE Mint is owned by Intuit now. Can't wait to see how they will "improve" it. I'm thinking minty-fresh doggy doo-doo. (Version 3.5.3)

SSNICKERER Anyone else having trouble hiding PandoraJam? I press cmd-H, the window becomes inactive, the application "next in line" becomes active, but the window simply does not go away. Else, PJ = teh awesome! (Version 1.4b291)

DR. GIRLFRIEND Yeah, me too, SSNICKERER. Good catch. I usually don't mind that bug though because I'm almost always running Think to focus on just one or two apps anyway. (Version 1.4b291)

iPartition | Dec 17 2008 |
SSNICKERER Ronin, in the software world, there are various different types of demos. It would not make sense for iPartition to use the "use for a little bit with full functionality" demo scheme, because then they would not make any money - most people would only use it once, and not need to pay for it at all. Granted, $50 is a lot to pay for a one-time use, which is probably more or less true for most users of partition software, but they are simply trying to make a living from making the software. I don't think that is too much to ask, do you? (Version 3.1)

SSNICKERER Excellent app. Though it doesn't work quite well with windows in other Spaces in Leopard. I suppose that would be a great new feature. (Version 1.0.2)

SSNICKERER Two finger scrolling is never awkward. Your fingers don't have to be side by side when scrolling vertically - you can have one on the top and one on the bottom if you so wish. (Version 1.6)

SSNICKERER In Safari 3, you can right-click the page and select "Export To PDF..." and it will export the entire page as a continuous PDF. This may be a functionality added by SafariStand, though, I'm not quite sure. (Version 1.5.7)

SSNICKERER Works incredibly well. I'd say it's even better than SiteSucker!! (Though a 3 for the value, because I think it's a little expensive.) (Version 1.1.3)

SSNICKERER This feature is built into Leopard, so the developer should not bother releasing a newer version. Go to System Preferences, Accounts. Unlock the padlock. Right click the account in question and select "Advanced Options...". Change the short name, click OK, and restart. (Version 1.3)

MACSPECTRUM when using Leopard's built in short name change option, don't forget that; for some 3rd party mice, the "right click" won't work, so use "control-click" instead (Version 1.3)

SSNICKERER You can do this easily with OS X's native applications. In Finder, select the files you want to "list." Hit Copy. Go to TextEdit, switch to plain text mode, and hit Paste. Voilą! (Version 4.0b4)

SJK Looks like basic Unix ls command output, which doesn't seem particularly useful for printing without at least sizes and dates. If I wanted to print a flat view of a folder from the GUI I'd just drag it in a Camino window to get a listing that includes generic icons, sizes, dates in addition to file/folder names. That works in at least Firefox, too. Not Safari because its windows aren't drop targets for folders. (Version 4.0.1)

SSNICKERER I don't know much about this product line, but all I need is to essentially convert SWF to FLV, and I think $80 is too much to ask. I may pay $15 max for something like this, I'm not that rich. (Version 3.1.14.3485)

RAMPANCY It is quite harder, as it's easier to misjudge placement of the blocks, and instead of a line, you need to get a full 4x4 block to clear any area of the screen. The blocks also seem to move faster, a lot more sooner, than Quinn, IIRC. What I want to know is how the hell he could cram this game into 74k of space. (Version 1.8)

PHIL Hey everyone, is it just me, or do you guys get these weird jumbled-up boxes when you put brackets around a fraction? i.e., adding the field "EQ \B(\F(3,4))" for example. I do not get the weird boxes without the fraction; I'm guessing it has something to do with the vertical extension of brackets that gives Word its problem? It'd be awesome if anyone could help. Thanks! (Version 11.2)
