Gimp	Sep 30 2004	PETER Sadly, also this release launches and quits immediately. The console shows the following message: (gimp-2.0:2541): WARNING : Cannot open font file for font Lucida Grande 12 (gimp-2.0:2541): WARNING : Cannot open fallback font, nothing to do I have no idea why. Lucida Grande is properly installed in /Library/Fonts and intact. Pointers anybody? (Version 2.0.5)		0

MACMANX Hit command-f and do a search for "gimp" with the parameters set for visible and invisible items. Trash the .gimp-2.0 and the .gimp-2.0-etc folder as well as gimp.app. Then, reinstall gimp.app.

ANONYMOUS The Lucida Grande font issue is a common thing that causes X11 apps to chocke. Check out MacGimp.org, I'm sure this has been answered somewhere before. Sorry I havn't got a direct link
