SNDTECH  the MBP fans are designed to run at a max speed of 6000RPMs this will speed will occur with apple's own fan settings if the machine is under a heavy processor load. your fans are no being damaged by this program, its dust that cakes onto the blades and causes the fans to go off balance. Applecare will cover this issue and replace your fans for free.

SNDTECH  many torrents give a "unknown error" and this error pauses downloading of the torrent. subsequently resuming the torrent allows it to continue, some torrents do this multiple times during download. had no issues with .70 other than that. the new features are wonderful and speed up many downloads for me.

FLYING_MEAT  theoretically, /Library/PreferencePanes/

drag to the trash.

that's just a theory, though.

It says where it installs it's stuff. i believe it stores a startup item as well, in... wait for it ... /Library/StartupItems/
