SMORGAN  *Do not* set your user agent with version 1.0 of this preference pane. The "Default" setting will blank out your user agent, which will cause problems with a wide variety of web sites.

SMORGAN  Those are the classic symptoms of having at old version of CaminoSession installed. Any version of CaminoSession except the latest has bugs that will render Camino 1.5 completely non-functional.

SMORGAN  You probably have an old version of 1Passwd. All versions of 1Password earlier than the most recent have a bug that crashes Camino 1.5

SMORGAN  The HTML and CSS specs are very clear that honoring style on form elements is optional, so while you may prefer a browser which does, it is incorrect to say that Camino is not standards-compliant because of that.
