JANRAS We offer support for Cenon via e-Mail and also provide a mailing list at www.Cenon.info. Here we try our best to help solving problems with Cenon. DXF to HPGL should definitely work. A common problem our support encounters is that the supposed DXF file is not DXF at all. Also make sure that the DXF file has the extension ".dxf" to be recognized as DXF. DXG is not supported by Cenon. AI is supported as AI 3. Later formats have to be exported from Adobe Illustrator including PostScript Headers. EPS is well supported. A common problem when importing PostScript however is that some applications simply export PostScript as an embedded Bitmap-Image, and this is of no use in a Vector-Application and not imported. Also, PostScript is a tremendous powerful format, and some special features are not supported by Cenon. Converting to a simpler PostScript-style can solve these limitations. For most purposes importing PostScript works very well. Converting vector formats is not a trivial endeavour and needs experience with all graphic formats and applications involved. The Cenon developers are thankful for any constructive feedback or contribution that helps improving Cenon, or helping others in getting the best out of Cenon. (Version 3.83) |
