SIG1  Unfortunately, v.0.7b4 no longer works with the latest Safari upgrade v.3.2.1 (5525.27.1). Constant crashing.

SIG1  Great idea, but flawed. v.2r3 mistakenly blocks some important pages in their entirety that are NOT ads. There needs to be a way to bypass AdBlock in this event, otherwise I have to switch browsers or uninstall.

PERSON1229  You just need to format your blocked URL strings a little differently. I've never seen this.

v.0.2.1 now won't install on 10.4.11 -- I am VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Looks like I'm uninstalling until this is resolved.

MACUPDATE ADMIN  There never was a version 2r3 of this software, there were versions 0.1, 0.2, and now 0.2.1. However, there is a version 2.0r3 of SafariBlock.

And the system requirements for Safari AdBlock are clearly stated as being for Mac OS X 10.5 or later, so naturally it will not install on 10.4.11.

Your post is confusing.

SIG  Useless. I never get a price, just spinning numbers. Consequently the up/down arrows do nothing.

SIG  Did you check the list of supported scanners? I don't see it listed as a PC scanner. I would email Hamrick.

SIG  As I mentioned previously, this is a very cool program. And while it worked perfectly with one library system I use, it wouldn't with the other. As mathboy found, the developer was very dedicated in getting it to work with my second system, and we worked back and forth for several days to figure it out, Now that it works right, I actually find it to be one of the most valuable pieces of software on my computer.

SIG  Don't you hate it when people don't pay attention to the descriptions? Anonymous, you don't have to be in Australia to have a DYNIX or other compatible catalog system in your library. This logged-in perfectly with the Seattle Public Library system. Very cool. Now, if it would sync with the King County Library (different system), I'd be very happy.

HAROLD CHU  It's nice to hear that someone outside Australia is using my program. I wouldn't mind if you could let me know what settings you used so I can add it in as a preset.

And I'll be happy to get King County Library working for you. Send me an email and I'll see what I can do. (My email address is available on my web page http://members.iinet.net.au/~harold_chu/librarybooks.)

SIG  If you had iScroll installed, you'll find an iScroll kext file in System/Library/Extensions that conflicts with Sidetrack. Trash it, restart, and Sidetrack should load OK.

SIG  This update ran fine for me. I do my routine maintenance, and haven't ever had a problem with the updates.

Note that only the last few comments apply to this update, while the other comments date back years to 2002 and apply to other update 10.2.

SIG  I really want to like this, but I haven't been able to get it to run for many generations now. If it doesn't crash on startup, it tries to load the weather forever and never runs.

I give up.
