SHISKBOB  I have used this software daily to clean text since it first came out. It only improves while staying extremely simple to use. Not all the on-the-surface choices - set up the preference and just use it. Usually, I am cleaning web site text to paste in a document of some sort or cleaning an email. I am still with Eudora(6.24), and SmartWap 2.8 still has a supporting plugin. I have tried to use Clean Text, but it is just not as easy, nor has there been repeated upgrade cost. Just think about it, stripping a selection of Word-doc text of all that formating and using that text in a rich text document or for building a web page -- clean and easy. That is my experience.

SHISKBOB  This is another excellent RapidWeaver theme from this developer/designer. The price is fair for the work. There are price breaks for multiple theme purchases (3 or more). This theme has many subtleties of design and function. Also a integrated mediabox is a step forward from previous themes mostly using only greybox functionality. This developer makes theme with a really clean look and supports his work and customers.

SHISKBOB  This download gave me a exe file. When I executed it, I am not sure what happened. I don't find a file of binaries that I could put into iTune-LAME. Is there something else to do or something else that I need?

SHISKBOB  It would be nice to know the other data storage software you found that didn't slow down with added data. I have Caboodle but use both Yojimbo (good sync with MobileMe) and EagleFiler (hierarchical folders,and multiple very large database possibilities) predominately.

SHISKBOB  Different functions than Slow Downer with gives pitch constance as well as slower transcribing speed. Using Apple's speech (playback) function would be a good addition to check the ear-feel of a transcription, as has been mentioned. Also a foot pedal option which many transcriber are used to using. There's real potential here.
