Eagle is a powerful schematic design/PCB layout program. It comes complete with an expandable library of parts and is available in Freeware form although some restrictions apply.

This version does NOT need X11 to run, contrary to the developers notes.

Looks very promising. Only been using it for ten minutes or so. Hoping to use it to write a blog, is this what its intended for?
