SHADOWNIGHT  I think Shiira is the best browser. The features are so well implemented, the interface is pleasing, clean and smooth. It has very innovative features, just download it to realize that. This is an application that makes you realize how badly the other browsers have been doing things for years. Innovative is the word to describe Shiira. It feels similar to Safari, but so much smarter.

I really encourage you to download it and take it for a psin, you have to use it to realize how good it is. There are a number of bugs or glitches, but really nothing to annoy you daily. Go ahead and see what you've been missing.

SHADOWNIGHT  A very nice application for a beta. Congratulations to the developer. Honestly, I'm using it now because it's free, but I probably won't pay for it when it comes out. But it's constantly improving, and it's free for now, so give it a go. A very useful application.

SHADOWNIGHT  The widget is nice and well-designed, but I thought I should point out that two copies of this widget open (I have two mail accounts) takes up 40MB of RAM on my machine while Mail only takes 30MB, so it may not be the tool of choice to replace Mail in RAM usage.

SHADOWNIGHT  Wow!!! I can finally receive hotmail.com mail in the Mail app of mac os x!!!

Macfreepops is really useful, even if the user interface is... umm.. weird. It's just not user friendly, but once you get your head around it (it basically needs no interface after all) you can start to receive mail in your account.

The basic think to do is open the MacFreePOPs application and click "Start Server", then open your mail application, create a new account and enter your details plus those that appear at the bottom of MacFreePOPs window. Then check your mail, and it should work. (In Apple's mail, you'll have to take a trip to the "Advanced" tab of account preferences after you've created the account to change the port #).

SHADOWNIGHT  This P2P app is simply the best - clean interface, EXCELLENT preferences for searching and finding what you want, fast, smart previews of downloaded music, and even encourages people not to steal music by placing links to Amazon or iTunes next to the search results... Unfortunately, I really don't think it should cost $18, since people just don't want to pay money for something like a P2P client, as good as it may be...

Also, although I haven't had problems, this developer is known to being not very nice...

But just considering the program, it certainly very Mac-like.

SHADOWNIGHT  SafariStand is pretty amazing - it makes Safari everything you've ever wanted to be... My favorite feature is the tab bar with thumbnails of the sites - very useful and elegant. I also changed Safari's appearance: SafariStand can take off the metal look.

SHADOWNIGHT  Quite nice... I dunno if it's just me, but I find the interface is not so intuitive and as somebody mentioned, it does feel more like a flash app than a Cocoa... Although I like the graphical look, it may be a little overdone... for example, why put numbers on the library's pictures? It's not easy to discover features, and while the slideshow is nice, there are almost no options, or rather the ones I consider important (like different transitions or Ken Burns).

All things considered, Lightroom is a nice but weird program (it's beta, after all...) I probably won't buy it comes out, because I really don't have a use for it, iPhoto is acceptable.
