SDEVAN  I forgot to add the only reason I didn't give SEE a 5 star rating is because of the reporting. Once they update the reporting, I have no doubt that SEE will be a 5 star application.

SDEVAN  I’ve been using SEE Finance for about 1 month now, and I consider it the best financial package available for the Mac. I’ve tried many other software programs: Quicken (which I’ve use for years), iBank, Moneydance, etc. None of them hold a candle to SEE.

SEE is very fast, has become very stable, and for a still new program, offers ease of use and a feature set not seen in any other personal financial software I’ve looked at. For example:

1. SEE correctly downloads qfx (and related file type) stock transaction files. Most other software downloads only checking type files correctly.

2. SEE correctly handles bonds and stock options correctly. Most other financial software doesn’t even know they exist.

3. Amazingly, SEE graphs stock sector exposure and composition for both your entire portfolio and individual accounts within your portfolio. This is vital for folks who rebalance their portfolios.

4. SEE provides multiple graphs at the click of a button for various transaction accounts.

5. SEE categorizes transaction imports flawlessly. This makes budget tracking a breeze.

6. SEE’s downloads of stock quotes is very fast. I’ve looked at it against Quicken..no comparison.

7. SEE understands the Mac Interface. No manual is necessary to get into the program, even though they do provide help screens.

SEE isn’t perfect. Reporting still needs work. But the guts of the program are fantastic.

The most important thing, however, to understand about SEE is the quality of their responsiveness to user’s concerns and suggestions. I have literally barraged them with feature requests and bug reports. They have kept me fully informed, and implemented some of my suggestions. This is flat out, the most responsive company I’ve ever dealt with.

I have switched all my accounts from Quicken to SEE and couldn’t be happier.

SDEVAN  This is a great little program, doing exactly what it promises very well--resizing pictures. What sets it apart are the following:

1. Its simplicity.

2. Its batch mode. You can import multiple files and resize them with the click of a button. Even better, you can then save them all with another click of a button--it simply appends a different incremented number to each file's name.

I gave a copy of this program to my wife, who frequently needs to resize pictures for a newsletter, and she fell in love with it in two minutes.

The only request I have of the author is that he add keyboard commands to invoke batch processing. There are keyboard commands for other actions.
