The downloaded disk image, when mounted, contains an Installer package, which in turn, when opened with, say, Pacifist, shows AOL Desktop.app with a dot preceeding it, hence an invisible file.
Is that what AOL tries to put onto our Macs? Invisible applications! |

Still PPC (or better yet, NOT Universal)?
In 2008?
Tip to the developer: get an Intel Mac! |

How is this categorized as an authoring tool? Shouldn't it be a system utility? "Corrects ownership and permission..." says so. |

First, "More Information" brings up a page with the following message:
"The page you are trying to locate cannot be found or is not available"
Second, since CommuniGate offers solutions for carriers/ISPs, enterprise and community, I'd like to suggest putting up information regarding the latter solution, i.e. for community, offering "Your FREE 5 user license of CommuniGate Pro for Unified Communications", which can be found here:
http://www.communigate.com/community/default.html |

Release notes mention Mac OS X 10.4.9 (Intel) as one of (recommended) system requirements, therefore NetBeans 6.0 should be considered Universal Binary application. |

This is the "double-entry" case: the same software title exists under different ID, i.e. http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/23271/chameleon |

Pricing starts from $19.95 per user, and minimum 2 users are required, hence $39 are required for syncing 2 Macs. |

About the price, this software's "Shop" site says:
Standard version 319 EUR (cca 430 $)
Professional version 549 EUR (cca 740 $)
Rather expensive, isn't it? |

To MU admin: When performing advanced search for "CSV exporter", I get two (2) titles, but these are the same piece of software. This one's URL: http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/24796/address-book-to-csv-exporter The other's URL: http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/21654/address-book-to-csv-exporter It should be only one of them in your database, or is it a double submission? |

Compared with the previous version 3.6, this version lacks necessary files for proper installation, i.e. iTunes plug-in. When the installer reaches "Select a Destination" phase, it says: "Installing this software requires 0 bytes of space" I'm keeping the last working version, 3.6. |

Although downloaded disk image states version 0.2.4, it is actually 0.2.2 dated in Dec 2006. Even so, Mac version lags behind Win/Linux versions. |

As much as I like Yellow Mug Software titles, I cannot find $12 justifiable for this app.
Beautiful Mac OS X icons can be easily found on Apple's Downloads site, and creating new folders and substituting default folder's icon is just thru Get info command (single-tab goes to icon, double-tab to comments). |

After downloading this app from MU and dev's web page, Get Info shows date(s) of creation/modification 23 May, 2006. Could the developer post the correct download link for build submitted to MU and dated 24 Nov, 2006? Thank you |

To permanently delete files/folders from your HD:
1)Open Terminal
2)cd FILE/FOLDER PATH
3)sudo rm -rv *
Then you type in your admin password, and chosen data is gone...forever. |

To the developer:
1) it is Liechtenstein, not Lechtenstein;
2) Yugoslavia does not exist since 1990 (most current geopolitical situation would include both Serbia and Monte Negro as independent countries)
3) would you be kind to include Croatia, since there is google.hr Web site? |

Could someone explain where these comics could be purchased?
Is the purchase exlusively confined to American market? |

It is good that MacUpdate provides download link for this app.
The developer's site offers only "Buy now" button, and it does not say how long and in what extent the demo works (is it fully functional for, say, 30 days). |

This application could be useful to those who use plain "Empty Trash" command. In such a case I could justify $49 price tag.
On the other hand, if you use "Secure Empty Trash" or delete the contents of the Trash via Terminal, the data being previously trashed is gone forever. |

With this Quartz screensaver sized at 12K, and a readme at 128K, I'd suggest the developer reduce the size of the disk image. 5MB is too much, not needed. May I suggest 256K tops. |

What took MU to post it with such delay? |

To the poster with one star: read the documents within disk image The application works great on my Panther (10.3.9) system. Drag the app's icon onto Desktop AND in the Dock. Launch it. Note: the app cannot be terminated with Quit command, but only via Force Quit command in Activity Monitor utility (in Applications/Utilities under My Processes) |
