ecto	May 22 2006	SABOR Just tried "MarsEdit" because it is a Unibin and let me tell you that it is nowhere close to ecto. It has no iPhoto integration, drag and drop of images did not work for me. After mere 5 minutes I went back to ecto. Please, please, please....released the UniBin version of Ecto, I love the app but if before my trial period ends there is no Unibin, my money will go to Mars ;) (Version 2.4.1)		0

iWebExtender	Apr 8 2006	SABOR Thanks for the instructions, I guess I had no idea about the 'HaloscanComments' part that needed to be added manually - it works now!! How about an option that will automatically place the comments section above the apple that iWeb generates? It would sure beat manually adding this text every time. (Version 1.06b)		0

Thanks for the comment and rating!

The comment and stat counter insertion work fine ( see http://iWebExtender.com/Funk.html for an example ), but admittedly there is very little documentation on how to use them at the moment ( So far in the beta I have been spending all my time on fixing bugs rather than working on documentation - I'm a naughty naughty developer! (slaps own wrist)).

What documentation there is currently exists in the form of tooltips (hover the mouse over a control for a few seconds to see what it does). Almost every UI elements support this right now.

As a quick note, to use comments and trackbacks:

1] sign up for a free haloscan.com account

2] on the tab page entitled 'Comments and Stats' enter your username into the box provided, and check the 'Add Comments' checkbox.

3] Anywhere in your site you want comments, insert the text 'HaloscanComments' - and it will be replaced with the correct Haloscan code to generate a comment block.

Better documentation (and probably a new version supporting direct FTP) will be up this weekend.
