I have contacted them. Perhaps I am too impatient...

I tried this out but decided not to purchase. Followed directions to delete Ap to uninstall. Also deleted prefs but nonetheless, the button in the Safari browser will not go away. The button non-functional but still there. I have done a thorough search for it and looked at all plug-ins and can't find it. Just a warning that if you try it out there may be a troublesome modification of your browser.

Well I tried again. Downloaded the update and installed this time. So I tried opening the software for the first time. Get a request for an activation code. Serial number does not work and there is no activation code on the user's manual, so I am stuck. Looked in the manual to see how to contact tech support and went online. Guess what? Have to pay $30 ahead of time to talk to a live person! So I tried their link for "free email support". Guess what again? Can't access that without the activation code. Crazy making. I have paid for this software, can't use it. Can't get any help with installation. I should have know better than to buy anything other than a Mac program. I would advise anyone thinking of using this software to be aware of very lousy tech support. Guess I won't be using it after all.

Tried to open for updating Parallels on my MacBook Air. Will not open. Tried twice, unresponsive, have to force quit.

I have been using this software for some years now and it functions very well for me — except for a recent problem. Since upgrading to Leopard, I cannot print files from SP on my iMac G5. It starts like it is going to, printer window comes up but nothing happens after sending off the file to print. Also cannot print a pdf.

I have emailed the developer several times over the last few months and he does not reply, so this is discouraging in regards to support.

I don't know how much this is a problem for others.

Just went through an interesting experience. I have been using Wiretap studio to record some DAT tape on to my computer. Today, this program would not start, would quit every time opened. In addition, no sound output from iTunes or from Pandora web site. Still I could use the keyboard to adjust sound and heard beeps accordingly. Very odd behavior. Spent quite some time repairing permissions, removing preferences, etc. trying to fix it. Finally called Apple Tech and we went through a number of steps without solving it. They suggested I reinstall the OS (Leopard). Before doing that I removed all the audio plugins and solved my problem. Turned out the culprit was the OSS 3D plugin. I add to this that the software has not been working for me either, no effect on sound output so the unfavorable situation was of the software not working and also causing sound loss and considerable time today trying to figure it out.

I downloaded this a couple of weeks ago. Was incredibly impressed with the improved sound on my bookshelf speakers. Unfortunately I upgraded to Leopard and now OSS 3D will not work at all. I have emailed the developer about it and hopefully there will be a fix. Not encouraging.

There is no button 3 choice for the mouse in system preferences, just right and left.

It might also be the problem that I am using a Logitech mouse, wireless, and the scroll wheel functions when pressed. Interference?

This is exactly what I did - held down the scroll wheel while turning it. Nada.

I downloaded and installed. Did not work. Nothing happened when using my scroll wheel or any of the buttons or keys suggested.

I am using an iMac, OS 10.4.9 and a logitch wireless mouse.

Tried it out on my iMac G5. Not good. Some programs just froze and could not be activated again. Had to quit them, or force quit, to get them going again.

Time consuming and awkward. If it worked as said might be useful but was problems from first try.

Does not work on my iMac G5. Windows can tab in Finder but when switching Aps and coming back to Desktop windows back to full size and tab still present. When tab clicked they disappear. Weird.

I emailed them about it and no reply yet. Not recommended by me.

Then must be my error. So, apologies for any upset or emotional reactions unncecessarily caused.

Well today I found the files missing from my desktop. They were in a (named) folder within the Documents folder.

I have no idea how they could have gotten there. I did not move them (unless some wierd mouse motion did it without my awareness). Is it possible that files could be moved like that? It gets more strange.

I am going to try Camouflage again since I found them and will let you know if anything like this happens again.

If it was my error, I apologize ahead of time.

I use:

1. ApPresto 1.0.1

2. Witch 1.0.2

3. Mighty Mouse (from Unsanity, changes cursor appearance).

Right now I have swithed over to Virtue Desktops instead. Will work with that for a while but would like to know if you find anything out. May switch back.

That is correct. No problem since not using C.

I identify it as the trigger because twice now I have had these problems (as described) and when removing C. and not using it, no problems after that.

There was a period between using this last version and the one before, of a week or so, of not using C. and having no problems at all. Then I installed the recent version and had this come up again. That is why I think it is this software. A great idea and I really liked it, so hope you can figure out what happened and put a plug in it.

I don't know what happened either but I can add this. I use ApPresto which automatically hides each application as I switch. I also use Witch for switching as well as Command-Tab. It may be the combo that is the problem. In any case, prior to this version the computer would just stop and I would get the spinning ball of death for ALL my programs. Could not even force quit. Had to use power button to shut down and then restart.

With this recent version I used it just a couple of days and while switching came back to the desktop and all my files (there) were gone. So something happened during the switching. Maybe this will help to figure it out.

I have used this from prior versions until now. The earlier version caused problems in that the computer would freeze up and I could not quit programs. Had to restart. It looked that was fixed with the present version so I tried it again. Now I have permanently lost all the files that were on my desktop. They just disappeared (which of course is what Camouflage does) but even when I quit C. and restart, files not visible. I ran Disk Warrior but that did not cure it.

So...looks dangerous to me.
