ROSENKRIEGER Does not work for me. Says I do not have a Version of the software that is able for updates. ( I got 12.1.3 ) - when I googled "office update 12.1.4 won't install" I got a few hits. So this seems another problem with the update that happend a while back with another version. I tried the solution if one removed a language pack from office ( which I did not do, I also have an original version, did not change paths, etc. ) - but I still have this problem Just have to wait for the update to the update of the update... Crappy MS :-/ (Version 12.1.4)

ERIC WOEHLER try following my instructions from yesterday about editing the updater if you dont have 12.1.3 installed, you will have to install that before 12.1.4 if you dont have 12.1.2 installed, you will have to install that before 12.1.3 but - the edits I list below work for all Office updaters, so if you have all the necessary updaters (12.1.1, 12.1.2, 12.1.3, 12.1.4) edit each in sequence then install serially and all should be ok good luck and see what happens...

Skitch | Jul 2 2008 |
ROSENKRIEGER This is another of my "must-have-apps". I have been enjoying Skitch for quite some time now and I must say I have integrated it into many of my workflows because its simply, powerful and does what it says! Love it and would not want to use a Mac without it. (Version 1.0b6.2)

ROY VAN DER WONING So you will actually sell/closet/torch your Mac if the developer decides to discontinue this product and the beta expires? Gotta love those superlatives in reviews. :-) (Version 1.0b6.2)

Office Dock | Jul 1 2008 |
ROSENKRIEGER Why not simply use stacks??? WIth the different kinds of display modes for stacks, even list view, all you have to do is create a folder, put the aliases in there and drag that folder to the dock - done. No app needed. (Version 1.2)

MACUPDATE ADMIN I also use Tiger, 10.4.11, so this is a nice thing to have. My MBP C2D with 2 GB RAM is quite capable of running 10.5, but I prefer not to use 10.5 though our daughter's new iMac is running 10.5 with no issues. (Version 1.2)

Audiobook Builder | Jun 27 2008 |
ROSENKRIEGER By far THE best Audiobook Application for Mac. The only thing I wish that would be added: Batch Processing. I would love to setup 10-15 jobs to convert MP3s to Audiobooks and have my iMac do all the work while I am sleeping instead of having to one after another after another after another... ROSENKRIEGER I really like this app - BUT - I am not gonna use it anymore. I know its free but I want to have it work fast and easy. I give it real ease of use, but if I have to click ( when its done deleting ) if I want to visit the authors website or do not want to visit it I am clicking more than need be and its annoying as he** I am back to deleting via short cuts and then using another shortcut to empty the trash (Version 1.3.1)

Tooble | Jun 8 2008 |
ROSENKRIEGER First of all - let me thank you for this wonderful little time waster - its changed my way of using YouTube. Makes it alot easier to surf and watch videos for me! I just did a testdrive with Tubular, which is a PAID app and I must say - Tooble beat's it in the aspect of speed ( which is critical for me ) by a mile! The only addition I am wishing for now ( since I saw it in Tubular ) is the possibility to ad a video to my favorite list within YouTube from within Tooble. (Version 0107)

Tubular | Jun 8 2008 |
ROSENKRIEGER As an avid user of Tooble ( which is free ) I am always curious what "the others" have to offer. So I just took a dive into Tubular 1.x and I am a bit disappointed. Its alot slower than Tooble. Loading my favorites, Most recent, Most viewed, etc. takes ALOT longer than with Tooble. Just try it - when I click on the different categories - it takes ages until the words for the videos to come up, the thumbnails mostly do not show up at all. The only differences ( so far ) I can see between Tooble and Tubular... 1. Tooble loads everything ALOT faster 3. Tubular allows a vid to be added to the my favorites ( in Tooble in the current version you have to do it via YouTube to see it within Tooble ) (Version 1.0)

JustLooking | Jun 8 2008 |
ROSENKRIEGER Lightweight. Fast. Supreme compared to the normal Apple Preview if you simply want to quickly look at one or many pictures. Love it! One thing missing ( maybe I just missed it ) is the ability to transfer a pic to lets say Apple Preview or Adobe Photoshop for editing. I know that "Just Looking" is for just looking ;-) - but once I looked at a pic I might want to edit/change something. It would be awesome to get some kind of option to take the current pic and "transfer" it to Apple Preview and/or favorite picture editor ( Photoshop for example ) Keep up the good work - it's appreciated! ROSENKRIEGER I can't say it loud enough - THIS IS A MUST HAVE APP ON YOUR MAC! Love it and would not want to use any of my Macs without it. By far one of the most useful apps that I have bought. (Version 2.6.3)

ROSENKRIEGER The previous version already had a problem on Leopard 10.5.2 - UserAgent will hang if Hear is running. Now with 10.5.3 the UserAgent hangs AND the coreaudiod also shows up red in the activity monitor. This is a great app I would buy - but with these two problems I am not willing to shell out any money. (Version 1.0.1)

DEVONHUB With the release of OS X 10.5.3, we too have seen the 'coreaudiod' process reporting a 'Not Responding' status and are investigating the problem. If you are interested in becoming a beta tester, please send an email to our technical support department with your contact info. Send an email to: Devon @ Prosoft (Version 1.0.1)

Flickery | May 20 2008 |
ROSENKRIEGER FYI got a Mail from the author of flickery... Regarding the invalid API key thing: flickr.com temporarily "pulled the plug" on my API key I'm using in flickery for communicating with flickr.com. Apparently, they weren't aware of how much traffic my app would cause them :) They seem to have re-enabled it for now, but I can't say how long it will last. I'm in talk with them and currently waiting for them to reply. Please keep an eye on my blog (http://web.mac.com/oddysseey) for updates on this. Thanks. (Version 1.0b)

ROSENKRIEGER Before I switched to Mac I used Windows and Roboform - as soon as I found 1Password on the Mac I was instantly at home. I got lucky and got a free license at the MacHeist Time - with 2.6 was "willingly forced" into buying it. I do not regret it and won't use one of my Macs without it. Buy it and find peace of mind. ROSENKRIEGER Thank you for providing this software for free. As stated before. It does what it says and it does it good and best of all - for free. So anyone "being sick of software like this" - nobody says you MUST use it - its a choice - and I for one like it! (Version 2.1.3)

ROSENKRIEGER Just tried this out and I am almost ready to purchase a license. I configured my ports manually, because Papaya couldn't do it for me ( no biggie ). So I passed the server status test. BUT for some reason it only takes my local IP adress, even if I set it to take my external IP adress. So I am unable to share to a chat friend of mine. Is this a bug? Can I do something to fix it? This seems like a REALLY REALLY superb quick share app ( and Apple is gonna hate you for making sharing iTunes music such an easy task hehe ) (Version 1.0)

ROSENKRIEGER I prefer Skitch. - Everything in a visual attractive GUI - Currently free ( beta ) I will buy Skitch once it costs because its simply the best tool to do screenshots, comments, touchups and uploads. It even has a skitch hosting service. Check out the video on the site, give it a try - you'll love it! (Version 3.5.1)

ROSENKRIEGER I am just trying out 4.0.1 and don't know if there is something wrong with my system or with DFX. I changed the settings in the menu to: ( the labels might be different, since I am translating this on the fly from the german Text I see ) 1. Black Toolbar Background 2. Visual Effects de-activated BUT the settings don't stick ?!? So when I reboot the checkmark at Visual Effects deactivated has disappeared. And even IF its set, I still get a fade in/fade out effect. I am also unable to use the greysidebar - I can klick the radio button but it has no effect. I still get a complete black background and no grey sidebar anywhere to be seen. What am I doing wrong ?!? ST. CLAIR SOFTWARE Please contact us at support@stclairsoft.com. You've probably got a damaged preference file (perhaps you tried DFX sometime before?) The easiest way to fix this is to run the installer and choose "Uninstall". When you're prompted with 4 checkboxes to specify what to remove, make sure they are all turned on. That will remove the prefs file too. After doing that, reinstall DFX and you should have a completely clean installation and it'll work correctly.
