RMR  works great and very low on resources.

when you install the updated soundflower, then you get back volume control using the hardware keys..

RMR  Does just what it claims, simple & good.

This works exactly the same as 'Extension Manager' back in OS 9, for people familiar with that, only for audiounits.

Very handy utility if you're working with (a lot of ) audiounits, particulary if your working with several app's which scan the audiounits folder.

(OS10.4.10, Logic Pro 7.2 & others)
