RJMORITA  It still does not show any applications without the extension .app attached to the name. I reported the problem in 5.0. but it's not fixed in 5.01.

DP8  If you remove the ".app" extension from an application bundle, the Finder will convert it to a normal folder, and it is no longer considered to be an application. MacUpdate Desktop will scan for non-bundle apps as well, such as some older carbon based executables, and those do not need to have the .app extension.

RJMORITA  There seems to be a lot of negative comments. I switched from Quicken to iBank in July (of 2008) and have been very pleased with it so far. I just got tired of Quicken's ancient interface. I will give iBank four out of five stars.
