RJIM  I am using Mac OS 10.4.11 on a MacBook Pro. Evertime I launch DeskDoodle.app it totally locks up my laptop.

MACUPDATE ADMIN  Not surprising, since this version is over two years old... try a newer software, Highlight, free:
