Not all of the Leopard issues are fixed. There are some weird visual things happening when you switch from note to note on the right pane...at least they don't disappear now in this version, but visually it's borked. |

Wow, this is very nice to see. Love the icons and so far, it's working really well and it's extremely fast. I won't be using the built-in OS X "BOMArchive" any longer at this rate. Well done! |

Here are my latest suggestions after using v1.0.4 for a little while: 1.) When I go up to "Management" and choose to "Show" an item within the main window, it doesn't stick between restarts of the program. I ALWAYS want certain items to be showing when I start the program. 2.) Where in the documentation does it state how to go about updating and replacing the "Sports Card Tracker" folder between revisions? I think something needs to be clearly shown to avoid deleting prior databases, since you don't want to make use of the pre-existing OS X folders in other locations to store the data. 3.) Does the manual discuss anything in regards to the ability to drag & drop images? 4.) As already discussed, and relates to #1 above, why can't the default window views stick and hold between restarts of the program? That is really annoying. 5.) The "Print Report" print-outs should include headers of the various columns it shows. Plus, when I have in the main window to show "Quantity, Price, Value", those values do not print-out on when using "Print Report"...I only see "Value" added at the end. 6.) Again, when in the main window I have "Value", "Quantity", and "Price" showing and enter a "New" card, it does not automatically show the value within the "Quantity" and "Price" fields in the main window after I hit save. I have to re-open the entry, and hit save again before the values show up in the main window. This one is kind of hard to explain, so if the above doesn't make sense, let me know and I can show you how to re-produce the problem step-by-step. Good work, it's almost there....just a few more little tweaks and this program will be dramatically more user-friendly than before. |

I've played with v1.0.3 for a little bit to test all the new features within this update and have found the following: 1.) "Duplicate" does not work as it should. I highlight a card, hit "Duplicate" and absolutely nothing happens. 2.) Can you make it where the window size holds between restarts of the program? The window is always so small when the program is launched and I'm constantly having to drag the corner of the window to make it bigger. 3.) The "Print Report" is not calculating all of the cards within the database correctly. I have (3) cards in their with varying quantities and only 1 of the cards and quantity are working together to sum up the total in the "Total Value of Inventory" on the print out. 4.) Anyway of creating a .plist (OS X preference file) for this program instead of embedding everything within the "Sports Card Tracker" application folder? That way when a new version comes out, you can simply replace the application folder with the new one and yet all of your database and information stays the same as it pulls it from another location (Users/Library/Preferences). This is the preferred way that applications in OS X function. You can also make use of the (Users/Library/Application Support) folder as well if you want to store the database information there. I deleted the previous database I had working in v1.0.2 due to not knowing that I couldn't replace the previous application folder with the new one. I'm sure many others would do the same even if the "update" process was totally documented and crystal clear. 5.) The drag and drop addition is nice, but nothing is mentioned in the user manual about it. I dragged a picture from my desktop into the field and it added without a problem. However, when I go to double-click and open the entry again, it says it cannot locate the photo any longer. Do I need to place the images somewhere else? If so, why?! 6.) When you delete an entry and restart the program and hit "View All", the entry is still there. It comes back every-time. |
