RICHLOVE  As the developer of TM Error Logger, I wish to thank all of you for your kind words of encouragement and constructive criticism, so delicately phrased.

It gives me such a warm and fuzzy feeling to read your kind and thoughtful comments and inspires me to keep writing more and more free applications just for you.

Version 1.1 is available with a simplified installer.

NOTE: If you are upgrading from a previous version, you can discard the old TM Error Logger Folder. This new version does not use a folder.

RICHLOVE  No need to be paranoid about the installer. It installs a folder called TM Error Logger in the applications folder. The folder contains items needed by the TM Error Logger application (help files, url links etc).

The application needs to stay inside of the folder so it can find the files it needs. However, you can create an alias of the application and drag it anywhere you wish.

RORO01  Many thanks for this useful product. The application would not need to stay inside the folder if you could put these files into the application bundle's Resources folder, thus making one item.

CHAS_M  I don't mind it having to stay inside it's own folder (though as pointed out one could easily "package" the folder contents into one item), but given the frequency of updates it really would be nice if I was allowed to specify WHERE the folder was installed. I prefer this sort of program to go into my Utilities folder, not Applications.

At present, this means I must install the package, then locate the old copy I moved to Utilities, trash it, then move the new copy into Utilities. Kind of PITA.

Take a look at the OnyX installer, which allows me to specify which folder I'd like to install to, as a model of what I'm looking for. Thanks.

ANTONIONG  As I told you by email I do not accept apps that force me to place them where they want. I put all apps where I want them to be since I am the one in charge!

And I advise everyone to take this stand.

(and it is an easy job for you to put all the neccessary files into 1 single application)
