RHITHYN  Intriguing... I'd like to see how it compares to say Retrospect or my current solution of rsync/rdiff-backup...

RHITHYN  Unfortunately, it doesn't remove the need for a pre-amp to use a mic. That's a hardware limitation, not a software flag.
