REVISION29  This app has a small foot print and performs pretty quick. The new toolbar icons make it even nicer.

REVISION29  Though this is awesome for iPods, I have a suggestion. Please expand the application to do the same for iTunes libraries. I have two iTunes libraries with duplicate songs and would like such an easy solution for combining those libraries.

REVISION29  I like the fact that this plug-in does not require an additional framework to run as GrowlMail does. It does not seem to be a resource hog and plays nice with Mail.

On the downside, I would like to be able to make my own animation as the ones included are not the best looking. It would also be nice if the message would say how many new messages were received and or if it is a single message to indicate sender and subject. Developer's website indicates that one can make custom animations, but I can't since my computer will not run quartz composer. This is why more options which affect the animation would be nice.

Keep up the good work.

SERGE   Frome the site of MailFX : "The quartz animations can be modified (for those which know Quartz composer). You can also create your owns animations by respecting size(314 x 256) and by avoiding the too heavy images which can saturate memory and slow down animation."

Apple Firmware Restoration CD

REVISION29  This is really cool. I have wondered what would happen if I were updating my firmware while running on battery power and all of a sudden it went to sleep because I ignored the battery getting low warning. The answer is probably that the computer would never again boot or wake up. The neat and functional part about this is if something goes wrong during the firmware update process one could pop in a cd and fix the problem. No toting the computer to the apple store and having it shipped off for several weeks to fix it.

ELIJAHG0  Updating the firmware on your Mac whilst on battery power would be a very very very stupid thing to do...
