REFURBY  Everybody seems to like MoRU here, a lot, yet some give it less than 5 stars. Maybe I'm overeager in my feelings about MoRU, but I'd give it 10 stars if I could. It fulfills what I have wanted for so long; Spotlight came close but its results were difficult to sort through and find that ONE file that you REALLY wanted.

With MoRU, the results seem to give me EXACTLY what I am looking for, every time, at least so far. You can choose what criteria to use in searching, if you need to narrow it any, AND, perhaps most importantly, you can choose WHERE to search. Plus, it has additional capabilities in keeping all your most-used applications and docs handy, also your most recently modified files.

Insanely great, I say! Download it, try it, send in your payment, a pittance for such a wonderful app.

Check what one of the magazine writers has to say about it:

REFURBY  Good thoughts, mok. Can't say I disagree.

Still, I want to be rid of the nags (but I'll tolerate them if I have to, as I have done on occasions I've used Acquisition) AND use Acquisition; I even want to PAY the author even though I don't use it much, but he won't give me any way to pay him but Paypal.

Don't do Paypal, won't. So, if I want to use Acq. I either put up with the nags or use this app.

Still, I take your points to heart as this app, if it works and continues to work, may just impact Acq's author's revenue.

Life's not fair.

REFURBY  I, for one, would like to thank the developer for this - even though I haven't had a chance to try it yet, I will.

For all those bemoaning the fact of someone's not paying for Acquisition, well, others posted some issues one might have paying for an app designed to bend/break the law.

I have used Acquisition a few times over the years, and I wanted to pay for it, actually. Unfortunately, the only method offered for payment is Paypal and I don't do Paypal. Don't care how many billions of users are successful using it, it just got too much bad press in the beginning and it's never stopped. Don't like doing business with this kind of business and the fact the eBay bought it doesn't inspire confidence in my chances should the need for any conflict resolution ever arise.

So, not using Paypal, I wrote the author of Acquisition asking, pleading really, to give me an alternate payment choice.

Never heard a word.

Sorry, Acquisition guy.
