An issue has been found with 1.5.1 it will not launch at all......... been in touch with the Devolper, he provided me with v1.5 http://download.gauchosoft.com/seasonality/Seasonality_1.5.dmg This will launch for 10.3.9 users. |

Hey guys I hear ya, if you have an older Mac! you begin to worry that a newer version won't work. I've learned to burn older DL files, SoundSpectrum doesn't keepan archive page. Right now I'm on a Slot Loading iMac, I was lucky enough to have DL files for G-Force v3.01 and whitecap 4.7.4 Moral is save those files |

This might sound odd, I installed 7.3.1, when I went to startrek.com to play the clip of the day, and it seemed that QT dropped my cable connection. I tried ichat, no go, ym, no go, I even tried another webpage, still no connection. I had to restart to regain the connection. I don't know if this happens on other sites with QT content, but thismight be a bug that needs to addressed. I this helps, I downloaded from software update. |

It seems that 1.7.0 is the last stable for version 10.3.9 1.7.2 still doesn't work for Panther. |

In the system pref window it shows it running, but when I launch it I get a white screen. |

Build 11 is a good start! don't leave Panther users behind, bring back it's own browser guide. another idea is different color skins, like Blue, Red, etc. Playback is not as smooth on slower Macs. It's not really a knock, just want RealPlayer to be better without leaving older Mac users behind. Thanks. |

You're right that it presently won't work on 10.3; we will be releasing (another) update next week to fix that---it only happened because we upgraded our build server to Leopard. The program code itself is still 10.3 compatible, it's just that the way it was built by the new developer tools means that it won't work, so we need to do another build to fix that. 1.6.3 does not launch on 10.3.9 Panther. Is it meant for Tiger & Leo??? I emailed the Developer, waiting for feedback, when promted for the update, I did it, and idefrag didn't relaunch. Hope it's a bug, I like the program very much. |

There was a bug in the 10.3.9 Version. Within a day I set the bug report to the Developer, and it was fixed right away. So to Mac OS ( the post below ) get a life, and do your software homework. Hmmm. Andy & team must be in the next version Tron! G-Force is having troubles too, blackscreen etc. Whats going on? Don't they consult with the itunes people????? And it's differcult to back to earlier versions sometimes. enougn said. |

Hello Ray, Unfortunately, G-Force 3.7.2 does not work with Mac OS X 10.3 (it's been a while since it became impossible to support 10.3 give G-Force's graphics requirements). When you enter your e-mail/license code on the download page, you need to download the older version, 3.1.3 that is specified for Mac OS X 10.3. Give that a try and let us know how you make out. Thanks, Anton Shevchenko I post this only for the reason that on site it says 3.7.2 does work on 10.3.9 Another good idea is they should keep an arcive for old versions. |

My G3 B&W went down awhile back, now I'm on an old slot loading iMac. 400mhz. Reinstalled last build of 10.3.9 updated all the software, but G-Force just shows a black screen, nothing. I think it's cuz at the moment there is only 128 of RAM, I will install 2 512's soon. Or could it be a bug??? |

Hmmm. 10.3.7 was the last version of AOL. Cheshire seems to be the verion. Which browers does it use? Safari, or Explorer? Is there a version for 10.3,9 Panther? |

Deleteting the preference file doesn't solve the launching problem. Must be a bug. |

3.7 doesn' install properly, when trying to launch the standalone, I get the promt window that the engine failed or can't find the folder. In the itunes list G-Force is not listed. bad bug for a great App. Please fix. |

Finding a support page on the site is hard thing. I first uninstalled BOINC, installed the new one, and still the same result, BOINC quits. Many users sadly lament about the new software, but greatly praised the old Seti@Home. If only the Developer were more helpful. |

Seems to work fine on 10.3.9, last build. wouldn't know about 10.2.8 Nice App. I have it installed in a G3B&W. Seems to be doing what it's meant to. |

Game play is ok, but crashes when the the High Scores window is opened, which also has no names. Will try Norton's Disk Doctor, maybe that will fix it, maybe. |

As a Mac user with more then browser I've always used Opera from the old 6.0 days. I have G3 B&W running last build of 10.3.9 at the moment 500mhz, and find that 9 runs slower then Safari. whatever speedtest site one uses will tell the story. Speed is my only issue. |

might be a hardrive issue, what OSX do you run etc. If you can backup, redoing the Drive may be an idea. |

Over the last few days I've reinstalled Azureus a few times, last stable verions was 2.1 even with updated plugins. An early version of 2.5 also seemed stable. I've sent bug reports to both Apple and the Developer, on the latter's part action seems slow; only one email saying to send info on problem which I did. Now as a Mac user, I keep my Drive fit and clean, update software all the time. I run the last build of 10.3.9 on a G3 B&W True one could say why not just use 2.1, but when you want to always use lastest verion, it can be frustrating whe there are known bugs/bad files I also realize that this may not be the right forum to air this out, but there are som 360 posts besides mine. |

I now have 2.5 Crashing, steming from the java stub thing; something that I really don't understand. Then I reinstalled 3.0, still the bug: a big nasty bug. I sent a bug report to Apple, I have it in my earlier post. If anyone can pass on to the developer please do. I rarely use it but love the blue frog. I have the lastest java etc. To me this is major bug IMHO |

2.5 was more stable, on 3.0 launches splash screen come up, after first screen opens it quit/crashes. I've tried all the versions of BOINC, all crashed on launch. had jag, now panther, and still no go. You guys should had never shut down the classic. I run the last build of 10.3.9 been a member since 2001 |

Hi guys, its Ray again, I've read the replies that were posted below. All have good points, what I was saying was that 2.15, only worked with my last build of 10.2.8 Jaguar. I now have the last build of 10.3.9 Panther, I also plan to upgrade my ATI card. I have a G3B&W, 500 mghz, and 1024 of RAM I also plan to upgrade the Processor too. After the upgrades I'm sure that 2.27 will work fine. |

FYI! if itunes 7 doesn't launch, take out the plugin and rerun itunes installer; it will restore itunes, nothing will be lost. 2,65 should have the fix. |

I too had the same problem, itunes 7 wouldn't launch had to take the plugin out the rerun the itunes installer. Hope the fix for.65 works. |

Hmmm...... I downloaded .20, running PPC, and last build of 10.3.9 On Camino & Netscape, went to startrek.com and the QT clip of day wouldn't play. On IE & Safari the clip played. Is there still the bug that disables QT??? So I put .16.0 back in, and still the same! |

If you have a Zip Drive, get into the habit of saving download files. just reinstall the older flash |

Ok, the bug was fixed, thank you Iphoto was not an issue. When I picked desktop pictures with sub-folders seleted, it would show some 20 pics then it would hang. If anyone else noticed this inform the Developer. Have a good week |

I have a G3B&W, 500ghz , 1024 0f Ram. Running 10.3.9, 7w98 There is a bug, when setting options can't close window. big time freeze; have to force quit system perferences, which by doesn't save settings. FIX THE BUG |

Hey Me! you're out there all alone...........lol, must have been you Drive or the install messing up, or the firewall, can ya hear me............ I first installed NSW 3.0 when I had the last build of 10.2.8, now I have 10.3.9. I've used the older NSW since the old OS 8.6 days. When the virus are updated, why does the first scan take soooooooo long sometimes up 20hrs. Any scan after that takes maybe 20-30mins. Now I know I'm not the only one who thinks about this! Can Norton's provide a download to fix this? I do plan to put in a 1ghz processor, would that help? any answers!!! I have a G3 B&W |

I have a G3 B&W running 10.2.8 Build 6R73. in it I have a 500mghz Zif chip in at the moment, hoping to upgrade soon. Its an OWC chip, which should I use? CPU Director or L2CacheConfig ? I don't have OS9 installed I do use Config, but need to put in my password. |

I totally agree EJ1! As a long time fan of G-Force it saddens me that 10.2 users are left behind. I understand the need of progress, but to a point. I can not afford 10.3 at the moment, and most new software versions can't make the leap! I will grin when Tiger users may find the need to upgrade to Puma (if it's still named that) to use their software. a example; I could not watch Jobs' last keynote speech because I have QT6, not 7 which I thought was not right. I believe that this is the second G-Force release in a week too. |

As a long time Opera user, Opera 9 is fine. I was concerned about the email warning window, but once I saw that everything fine I relaxed. Now that Opera is free, thats even better. |

Thanks for the fixes, Earthbrowser is still great! It now has speed at Startup. The features are great. Earthbrowser for OSX should be for all Versions. |

Unless you have Camino installed, the download link seems to be for Feb. 3,. So be mindful of the date, the link for the nightly build might be better to use. Otherwise a great browser!!! |

Seems to work ok on my G3B&W, after the update I now have the amber light on the front, when pushed it fashed white for a bit. My cable speed seems fater too. Did I miss something about the light, lol |

To all itunes users, if itunes is still unstable and quits, trash the plist. perfernce file and restart itune. The setup window will come again, but no big deal. Good Luck |
