PORCUSTAL An update of this program would be really nice to keep it working with the newer versions of web-browsers. (Version 1.2.3)

PORCUSTAL This is a super great text app. So much better than textEdit, lightyears beyond msword or any other mstrash. Its enjoyable to use and very responsive. Support has always been great! Its low price makes it one of the best software bargains around. (Version 3.2)

Collage Saver | Feb 27 2009 |
PORCUSTAL This screen saver is awesome. no two ways about it... (on 10.4.11 atm) It would be really nice to dedicate a key to grap a screenshot of the current collage, That would give it 5*'s for features imo. It runs very nicely (low cpu) as a screen-saver-desktop-hack too!! if you don't mind distractions... (Version 1.0.1)

PORCUSTAL Not going to review the current version because I don't want to download it. My version of 3.5.2 works super great (5stars*), but i'm not at all into the new version's graphical look, and it seems its become more bloated with glammor and glitz. Which simply isn't the purpose of this type of app. (Version 4.0)

PORCUSTAL This SuperGreat app really needs updating. but you can still do your own searches or put whatever images into the album window. And the basic functionality still works. at least on my tiger. so its not useless if it can still be downloaded.. (Version 1.0b2)

PORCUSTAL this is a nice download manager, could use some spice though. Its very hard to see the downloads that are waiting to start or restart with the uniform greyness of the icons and their smallness. Also there seems to be a small issue as my internet won't reconnect if its been running for a while and I haven't been online. Quiting Download Queue solves the problem, and i can start it up again... not sure whats up with that. (Version 1.2.3)

Kanji Go | Jul 25 2008 |
PORCUSTAL Thanks to the developer for creating this great application. its very simple, very easy, and really helps learning, especially when used with a book. Its lacking some basic usability features which i hope are added soon like editing your vocab lists. (deleting words or rearranging them) and optional sizes of the exported flash cards. But definitly a great start! (Version .8d)

SCOTTJMCHUGH Hi Porcustal, Thanks for your feedback! I've made several updates to Kanji Go that ought to make it more useable. You can now edit/rearrange vocab words and lists, and set the size and colors used when creating flash cards. If you think of any other features you'd like or encounter any bugs, just let me know.

PORCUSTAL I haven't tried this app yet but it makes me wonder why so many apps use the same itunes like interface ... I find it boring and repetitive. I've used transmit for years now and think its great. no need to find something new... (Version 1.5.2)

PORCUSTAL a nice widget and better with age but it has one problem and a small bit of weirdness, problem: it doesn't register the temp of my G4 cpus. which many other similar apps do. the weirdness: its total memory used seems a bit incongruous with other memory-usage utils. ie: it ignores the used-but-inactive mem when adding up total used mem. not really a problem but makes result different when comparing with other utils. i suppose its a matter of opinion... PORCUSTAL I'm had crashes when its contextual-menu item was installed too, so i removed it. Now no Finder crashes... I agree its a really great idea and would be really usefull if the Finder crashes were fixed. (Version 1.1)

PORCUSTAL like has been said this is a really great web browser if you like the old Mozilla. It has your basic web development abilities and usual mozilla/firefox browsing features. bulkier but very kitchen sink, which is what i like. Its html editor could use some updateing to be a bit less buggy but its just fine for quick edits... (Version 1.1.4)

PORCUSTAL yea a bit pricey when there are many other just as good audio editing apps out there... $20-25 for an upgrade would be tops for me. (Version 3.5.1)

OTF Harmonizer | Feb 3 2007 |
PORCUSTAL well obviously a choice of saving the original unmodified fonts in a seperate folder would be the best option. Another option or an additional one would be to make duplicates of all the various variations in several folders, which could then be turned on/off with FontBook. (Version 1.1)

MYZTIKJENZ Hey, constructive criticism! What a novel idea! Both of your ideas are quite valid and honestly are ones that I hadn't thought of, especially creating a new FontBook collection. My intention was always to have the app work on copies of fonts made by the user, but giving the option to do that from inside the app would make it more obvious that's what people should do. I'll definitely add your ideas to the list of things to do in the next release. Thanks for your ideas, porcustal. (Version 1.1)

PORCUSTAL a very nice irc app with lots of potential options that are hard to set without a techy knowledge... beeping and noises on highlights? Prefs panel could use lot more... (Version 0.8.0)

PORCUSTAL still a very useful app after 3 years! could definitely use some work though! the multiple cabinets is a bit sketchy, but the fact it stores actual files in a nice accessable way and not just aliases is what i like. (Version 1.8.3)

PORCUSTAL very nice app! i really like the ability to have transparent tabs, and as many as i want! a couple of small bugs are: 1. the text doesn't seem to like staying aligned on the right.. especially with check boxes. 2, an option to not have a new ghost tab appear when ever at the screen side would be nice. keep up good work! FunTrash | Aug 25 2006 |
PORCUSTAL a fun small program.. works just fine on Tiger. more animations than the two supplied would be cool, a pref for the speed of the animation, and a context item or hotkey would make it much. kinda strange to see folks complaining so much about something that is free, small, simple.. (Version 0.6.1)

DockExtender | Apr 15 2006 |
PORCUSTAL needs a definite update for Tiger, most things work just fine, but the dock switching submenus don't, so basically its just an extra menu launcher and a dock launcher which is very useful, but the MultiDock configurations don't work atm. :( update! update! (Version 3.1.3)

LightWayText | Jan 24 2006 |
PORCUSTAL LightWayText is a great app, allowing working in a variety of basic text formats. Especially good find and replace abilities, as well as making very decent fliers and such. The layout is very intuitive, and enjoyable to work in. I use it always instead of Textedit, except when viewing some Readme (rtfd) files, which it doesn't support. And for those who have pc's too you can get a free pc version that enables flawless file interchange. (Version 4.1.6e)
